Canon R50 Mirrorless Camera Review

I purchased the Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera with 18-45mm and 55-210mm Lenses and continue to be impressed by its performance. The camera is compact and lightweight making it easy to carry and have on me when a great shot presents itself. For its performance, form factor, and price I couldn’t be happier!! 5 |

I got the Canon R50 for everyday use and find it to be perfect for that. I have a full mirrorless system for professional use, but it's big and heavy and not fun to carry around with the kids for home documentation. Using the R50 with the kit 18-150mm lens is perfect for those trips to the zoo, playing in the park, or just everyday activities. Having a large sensor with a nice zoom gives you something you simply can't have with an iPhone. The colors on this camera look fantastic as well. I love the newer canon color science and the sensor and autofocus performance in the R50 is coming from much higher end cameras from canon. Really impressive. Also, if you're needing a solid camera for YouTube videos or even something to level up your zoom calls, using this camera is perfect for that. Are there better cameras out there? Yes of course... but this camera is a great price, and now with the newer sensor and autofocus, I feel the R50 is the best budget camera on the market and it is a worthy upgrade from the famous M50. 5 |

When looking to buy a new camera it is always difficult to chose, until you see this camera. The Canon R50 is the all around best camera in my opinion, even when compared to higher end models. I am very satisfied with the features and even just the included kit lens. 5 |

The Canon R50 was my first camera in about 12 years. An old Lumix of mine was stolen years ago and I've always wanted a replacement. As the years went by, now seemed like a great time to check out the market once more. As I realized that the new tech was going with mirrorless designs I did my research and landed on the R50 as an affordable, yet highly capable, replacement for my decade-old Lumix. I instantly fell in love. The camera and the new RF lenses Canon is still releasing to this day combine for outstanding quality and ease of use. The AF is stellar, the LCD screen is a lifesaver, and having an EVF is crucial on those super sunny days. For my needs, the R50 immediately met and surpassed my expectations. Plus, I am just learning how to manually shoot, and seeing what this camera can do from pictures and videos I've already seen has me excited about how well I can tune the R50 and develop my skills even further. I have nothing but positive things to say so far. If that changes, I'll update this review. Thanks and buy Canon all day! 5 |

Bought this to carry a Canon R50 two lens kit for vacation. The camera with one lens attache and the extra lens just fit. Extra battery goes in the outside zip pocket. I added a small strap I already had. Love it. 5 |

I have several of these and always keep one spare. I use them on my G9XMKII pocket camera, iPhone, even my Canon R50. I can swap it out for a wrist or neck strap when needed. Gives you that extra confidence that you aren't going to drop the camera. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I travel with a super 8 camera as well as a mirrorless canon. This bag is so easy to customize to my exact needs, I love it! Perfect little compartments for my film, too. Already looking into the rogue for traveling with less gear/lenses. 5 |
