Canon Rebel Xt Digital Slr Camera

Having fell in love with the Canon Digital Rebel XT and the ease of use for an amateur I thought it would not be possible to have a better easy-to-use pro-like camera. I was wrong! I am in love again with my new Canon EOS 50D. All my Canon lens fit my new camera body so I am good to go. What an awesome intuitive camera.

We have had our Canon Digital Rebel XT for over 3 years now and we have been waiting for a lens like this since then. We initially bought the 17-85mm IS lens, which was a great lens. This lens has not disappointed. It's great to have the extra range so that we don't have to carry 2 lenses like we used to (had the 75-300mm lens as well).

I have a Canon EOS Rebel Xt with an EFS 18-55mm lens; the cover fits perfectly. Just came back from Florida; was able to place the cover on the camera and throw it in my backpack without any harm to the camera.

I went with the XT-3 primarily to cut size and weight compared to my full-frame SLR. After using this camera for a while, I have not looked back. Image quality is excellent and Fujis lenses are amazing. I love the control layout, which is very much like a film camera. Everything is right there, quick and easy to see and change. I now spend a lot less time pressing buttons and scrolling through menus just to change basic functions. This camera simply does not get in the way and brings back the art in photography. I find that I definitely prefer bringing my XT-3 for most all of my photography now. I considered Canon, Nikon, and Sony mirrorless but found their respective full-frame lenses to still be noticeably larger and heavier than I wanted. The Fuji APS-C sized lenses I have used so far are not only smaller and lighter but seem to me to be better optically and mechanically. Canon SLR users looking to switch to a mirrorless system might have an even easier decision as I found the EOS-R to be a pretty lackluster offering compared to the XT-3.

I bought this for my canon rebel 3ti. I'm new to the SLR cameras and thought this would be a fun addition to it. I was right not only is it fun but it is easy to use. My favorite feature is that the remote is wireless with a range of 320 feet. Also, I love that you can be anywhere around the camera and be able to release the shutter. For example, you don't need to be right in front of the camera to use it. You can be off the side or behind it. The cheaper version of the remote does not allow for that. I used this to take pictures of my boyfriend and I in Central Park. All I had to do was set up the camera and get in the shot. I didn't need to worry about a timer or asking someone else to take the photo. The remote is small enough to hide in your hand so its not visible in the image. It can also be used to reduce camera shake or to have hands free picture taking. Overall, this is a very fun remote and has a lot of potental to help with taking photos.

Just starting out with more advanced photos. I am using this with a Rebel Digital XT. Does exactly what I wanted. Would reccommend this to anyone.

I bought this for my Rebel XT to make up for stored glass that I couldn't use with the digital. I did have problems at first and was not surprised because of the low price. After a few tests it turned out to be a bad filter. The ghosting was gone but the contrast is a bit flat. PhotoShop fixed that and for a lens under $200.00 I'm happy. The real test was shooting the Red Bull air racers in SD. A little flat but very sharp.

I've shot with the original Digital Rebel, XT, XTi, XSi, T1i and T4i plus 60D and even 5D MK I (first version.) Shooting travel and underwater images my #1 requirement these days is WEIGHT.
