Canon S95 Digital Camera Review

I have a Canon PowerShot S95 and I love this camera. The grip cord that came with it is not so lovable: it is thin and frays easily. Besides, I like carrying my camera with a full neck strap, and not a grip. The choices I had were the leather Canon Leather Neck Strap, which was too thin for me. I went to the B&H Store and saw that all the available straps had cords that were too thick for the S95's cord slot. A salesman recommended this product, which I partnered with the LowePro Speedster Strap ($11.95 at the B&H refurbished section). I got a lot of good comments for my custom strap. The cord of these loops may be too thick and I looped it through the camera by sewing it with a thinner cord.

I bought this camera as a replacement for my aging Canon s95. There are times I want to travel light and need an alternative to my Canon DSLR. I was hesitant at first, but the more I started using the camera the more I love it. The quality of the image capture is amazing, and I love the fast lens. It is a tad larger than the s95, but I find the added weight and the addition to a grip makes for a much nicer feel when using the camera. The ability to tilt the rear screen is a very nice feature too. The one drawback I have found (not a problem with the camera) is that the version of Photoshop (CS6) and Lightroom (version 5.7) I have don't recognize the raw files. I believe the only solution is a subscription to Photoshop CC. No sweat - I just bought Adobe stock (symbol: ADBE) The camera is a bit pricey ... but in the end well worth the price.

I wanted a replacement for my Canon S95, a camera to carry everyday and take great photos on the fly. OMG! I had no idea what I was missing, this little gem gets me the western clouds I love without sacrificing the exposure on the ground. I am smitten! I bought my first big camera purchase from B&H in the 80's, I am a loyal customer because I know I can trust B&H.

I was looking for something small and sleek to protect my Canon S95 in my purse. This is simply a neoprene sleeve with a Velcro flap, exactly what I was looking for. Plus it's pink - how can you not love that? LOL! Don't be confused by the product photo. The strap in the photo is part of the camera inside the case, not part of the case itself.

I bought this case for my Canon S95 and it fits perfectly. I recommend buying this if you have a Canon S90 or S95

Once I decided to add an offmarket grip to my new Canon S95, the higher-priced horizontal case would not fit, so I saved $ on this slightly more generic case and it works perfectly. Well made and practical for me. Now I can wear my high-end Canon Ph.d camera everywhere I go. (Push Here, Dummy)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canon Zoom Digital Monocular is so much better than expected. First, I love the small size of the camera. You can slip it into your pocket and take it anywhere. It is so lovely being able to take pictures of just about anything. Do you see something you like far away? It is not a problem with this camera. It has such an incredible zoom capability. You can take close-up pictures of sports games and nature or use it as an everyday traveling camera. It also takes video. I appreciate the Bluetooth connection to your phone. It makes image transfer so easy. With the invention of cameras on smartphones, I never thought I would want to carry a camera again, but now that I have this camera, I have completely changed my mind. My phone’s camera does not even compare to this one. It is in a whole other league.

I use the on my Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera works good. all is well.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.
