This camera is a beast. I do a lot of indoor sports photography and my first impression was that this system (add a Canon L f2.8 70-200mm) was going to be too heavy for a 71 year old to use. Not true, after over 500 images at two basketball games I didn't even notice the weight. Focus speed and follow ability is superior to the 5D III. Looking forward to using it at tonight's high school band concert. I'm glad I bought it. 5 |

I use it for mostly sports photography but I also use it nature or standard photography with a Canon 50D SLR camera. It has a great zoom and great instant auto focus. I don't have any complaints. Hopefully I won't have to complain about it :) 5 |

The Canon 1DX MarkII is an upgrade for me. I use it for sports and wildlife photography. There are a lot of things on the menu that I am familiar with from my 5D Mark II. An excellent camera that works well with the Canon line of lenses I have, and I will try it with a few different options of lenses for sports. 5 |
