I recently upgraded from a Canon super zoom point and shot to the RX10 IV. I plan on using the camera for birding and travel. I didn't want to go with a DSLR as I don't want to carry a lot of lenses with me. The Sony gives me the ability to go from 24mm to 600mm. While that isn't as much zoom as my previous camera, the increase in picture quality is well worth it. The Sony menu, while extensive, is not as intuitive as my previous Canon but with an on line guide, has been pretty easy to go through and understand. So far I have very happy with the camera. In addition, B&H has been great to deal with. It has been awhile since I purchased anything from them, but they are as great as ever. 5 |
