I use it to take picture with my Canon Sure Shot ACE camera. It has great picture quality and very easy and convenient to use. My family loves it.

Had to replace my old battery in my older Canon Sure Shot underwater point and shoot camera. The Panasonic CR123A had it working and shot a bunch of underwater reef photos with it.

Used to mount a Sure Shot Reflex Sight on camera. Wish they made a 2 version. Had to cut 2 off to mount on camera.

Better as in, usage for remote shutter. Sure there's no live view compared to using a wifi adapter on your mobile device, but the wifi adapter disconnects often. This works better, has some distance limitation, but less running from camera to group during your shot. Works for long exposure where you can set it to drop the mirror first than expose, allowing a non-vibrated shot to take place. Haven't had it for a long time to know its durability, but its a cheap remote at $ (well that depends on your perspective, it does only have 1 button)

I bought an used older copy for a great price, and I love it. Sure, the 2.8 version is faster, but for$3899 quite a bit more expensive! I use it handheld or on amonopod and have had excellent results. I keep it on a 20Dat all times as my action/sports rig and have not once hadany issues with lockup or anything else for that matter. Iam hoping that Canon will one day develop a 'Mark II' ofthis with 4 stop IS... That would make a great lens even better! Expertise: Ameteur that spends too much but loves his gear... Problems Encountered: Doesn't look as cool as the 2.8... :DOtherwise nothing. Previous Equivalent Item Owned: Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS, no comparison Items I Recommend: Monopod

I have had several 1Ds bodies, and currently own 3 1DX bodies, 2 of them the mark 2 version. They are hands down the most rugged and feature ladened cameras on the market. Sure the Mark 3 has considerable upgrades, but for what I do, mostly portraiture, these are just workhorses. I have different lenses on each, and it's just nice to have enough to go around. Sure, the future is mirrorless, but I'm now in the twilight of my photography career and hope I never have to use one. I hate the electronic viewfinder, what can I say, spent my life looking right through the lens, small, medium and large format. B&H I believe are the only ones now offering this level of camera at an insane price. I gladly paid $4500 last year for the same body. Get it while it last, the Mark 3 is a hefty sum and it is going to be the last Canon DSLR for pros. Be sure to get all the glass you need now, Canon is discontinuing all the EF style mounts, glad I got the 135mm last year.

Sure the phone on my camera can take good pictures, but the zoom can pixilate the image. The Canon SX740 HS has a 40X powerful optical zoom delivering fantastic shots of distance objects with crisp and clear images.
