Canon Sure Shot Wp 1 Waterproof 35Mm Camera

Bought this case for Canon digital camera waterproof case, WP-DC51. It fits snugly and just what I needed for travel protection. Lightweight neoprene, not too bulky, snaps on back to close securely.

Used this product in the WP-DC28 Canon Waterproof Housing on about 18 dives. I found the moisture munchers lasted about 3-4 dives and I was probably throwing them out too soon. I would discard when they turned purple not pink.

I use it to take picture with my Canon Sure Shot ACE camera. It has great picture quality and very easy and convenient to use. My family loves it.

For anyone who is serious about photography, reguardless of what camera you use, this product is a must have. Having correct WP is the first and most important step in digital photo adjustment and editing. If you are shoting in doors or out doors just get in the habit of making your first shot in a series a shot that includes the fanned out card set and you'll be good to go when you start working with your pictures.

I got the DicaPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case mainly to keep out salt water and sand as I take a lot of beach photos. But when I took this in the water, I was amazed at the ease of use and the overall performance of this water proof case. I even took it about 3 or 4 feet under water for some great shots. After searching for a case that wasn't too bulky or too expensive, I found this Dicapac to be the perfect fit for my needs. The only thing I would have like would be an extra finger slot on the left side of the case because one of my particular Sony A350 SLR's has the power button on the left side. It takes some getting use to, but with just an hour of practice with shooting in the water I was shooting all day in the water with no worries of salt sand or damage to my cameras. Sometimes the seal can seem hard to close, so make double sure it is zipped tight. Other than that this is a fantastic product that I foresee getting lots of use out of. I plan to buy another DicaPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case soon for my backup camera.

This camera is a beast, and I love it. I cut my teeth on a Canon AE-1 Program shooting weddings with my dad, and I missed that 35mm feel. Enter the Zfc. I have ALWAYS shot Canons and Olympus, but this Nikon changed my mind. The creative control and skill requirements native to a 35mm SLR, fused into a pure digital body. Not only that the color saturation doing outdoor photography and portraits alike is amazing--I shot my wife and my father-in-law's Christmas picture and they both loved it. Had to replace my old battery in my older Canon Sure Shot underwater point and shoot camera. The Panasonic CR123A had it working and shot a bunch of underwater reef photos with it.

Used to mount a Sure Shot Reflex Sight on camera. Wish they made a 2 version. Had to cut 2 off to mount on camera.

Before buying this lens I rented one to use for an engagement shoot. The bokeh was gorgeous, the focus was fast, and the 35mm focal length on a crop sensor camera (Canon t3i) was perfect for couples portraits. But the real winner for me is the sharpness. Holy moly this lens is sharp!When I opened the photos on my computer and zoomed in as far as I could, it was like seeing the world through glasses for the first time. This was a major upgrade from any lens I've shot with, including some Canon L-series glass. Every pore and hair was clearly visible.The lens is big and heavy. It feels solid and well-built. The weight may deter some buyers, particularly those who are going to be carrying around multiple primes during the day. So bear that in mind. In the case of my first test shoot, I never traded lenses. I shot the whole session with the 35mm.Last note: the minimum focusing distance is surprisingly close. This isn't technically a macro lens, but it can get some fantastic detail at close range.

I used this item for a scuba diving trip in Andros, Bahamas. I placed this into the WP-DC34 housing for a Canon Powershot G12. The housing had plenty of room. There was no detectable moisture issue or fogging during use of this product. Thanks to the housing, it stayed blue the whole time. Note: This product does not fit into the Canon WP-DC17 housing for the Canon Powershot SD870IS.
