I was very happy that B&H had this battery so soon after the Canon PowerShot SX40 HS was released. Though I have had no trouble with the original battery running down, I like to have a backup battery ready if needed.

I needed a backup battery for my Canon SX40 HS. Hard to find it on many sites. B&H had it available and at a good price. Works great!

I found many options for extra batteries, but very few were the actual Canon brand battery for my SX40 HS. This is a perfect second battery to carry along on vacation and days when I'm taking lots of photos. The customer service from B&H was wonderful as well.

First off this bag will not hold 1-2 DLRs and 3-4 lenses and accessories as per Canon. However, I have a SX40 HS and I have plenty of room, even for the shoulder strap and the manual inside. The waist belt is a BIG plus. The charger, extra battery, blow brush and small 6 tripod all fit in the front pocket.

Perfect Size for Canon SX40; but not much room for anything else.

I bought this filter along with a filter adapter FA-DC67A for my Canon SX40 camera. The Hoya filter went onto the adapter with no problem. I bought the filter to protect the lens. There are cheaper UV filters, but I thought the Hoya High Density filter would give a bit more protection. I've already had it hit once and no problems.

I was looking for a way to be able to carry my Nikon P500 in my purse, and this case made that possible. Even if I purchase another camera (I am considering a Canon SX40), this case will be fit that camera as well.
