The OLM-10 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone by Pearstone is a great little microphone and has fantastic sound for the price. In fact, I use this for allot of different professional interviews with my Canon Mark III for video. A definate must have in your bag to get you by in a pinch, or for regular use! I bought this microphone as a replacement to the Sennheiser ME2 Omni Lavalier Wireless Microphone System and I have to say, it is amazing quality. I can't even tell the difference between the manufactured Sennhesier and this Pearstone. I use this microphone in corporate studio shoots, in house astrology horoscope shoots, and for weddings. Adapter worked fine with my Canon Vixia HF M30 to let me use an external microphone that has a universal cold shoe. Although the adapter is mainly made of plastic, it seems sturdy and well made, I am very satisfied. 5 |

I spent a lot of time looking around for an external microphone for my new Canon 7D and finally settled on this one. I have absolutely no regrets. Operation is simple and easily picks up sound that internal mics can't. The only thing that I wish was a little more clear are the directions regarding the use of the low noise circuitry - I had to search reviews on the internet to find out more about how and when to use it. 5 |
