Canon Utility Software

This is my first UPS. The instruction manual is a little weak and you will have to go online and find the CyberPower UPS utility software. The size seems to be reasonable given the 9 output outlets. I tested it by unplugging it and running the battery down with my desktop, 2 LCD monitors, printer, and USB Hub. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again. 5 |

I bought this for the hypersync capabilities, and it does just that. Wanted it to work with my pluslll units as well, which is does. The software utility to set up the unit takes some getting used to to find the right settings you need. I find it a slight inconvenience to have to need a computer to reprogram the device. 5 |

The drive is exactly as advertised. The Windows version comes formatted using the Windows NT standard. If you have a Mac and want a color other than black: Buy the Windows version in whatever color you like and reformat it for Mac. To do that, plug it into your Mac, and install the Western Digital Mac utility that comes on the drive. Use that utility to erase & reformat the drive -- you'll get an error message if you try to reformat it using Apple's Disk Utility if you have High Sierra. It reformats quickly and - voila - you have a Mac-compatible drive. If you want to retain the software that comes with the drive, just copy it to your desktop, reformat the portable drive, and copy the software back onto it. 5 |

This was a sale-price induced purchase by an engaged non-professional. Registration and software download were not well documented, but were managed without difficulty. Users of Apple OS 11 should be familiar with OS Color Synch Utility app prior to installing and using the SpyderXElite app. Actual calibration with the Datacolor tools was quite rapid and produced a dated and re-namable profile loaded to the list retained by the OS Utility. The supplied sensor hardware and software should be useful for maintaining color calibration over time. I shall try the sample icc profiles provided for Canon and Epson printer papers on another day. Meanwhile, I will use the color card with my Colorscan 9000F scanner and third party scanner software to see pdf I can improve rendering of scanned prints and negatives. 5 |

I bought this scanner because it was compatible with Windows 7 and contained the copy utility which was lost when I upgraded my software for the Perfection 4990 scanner I had before. Overall the V600 is a great scanner with many very usable features. I like the button controls on the front as it speeds up the workflow. Would highly recommend this scanner. 5 |

OK drive, mediocre speeds, does not work with WD software? Yes, does not support their WD drive utility which allows for setting or disabling the sleep timer. A real pain when the drive requires 15 seconds to re - startup every 1/2 hr. of idle time, increased pc boot and shutdown times. If the software worked with it, this is no longer a problem. But it's cheaper. 5 |

I bought the pro version of the software from B&H about a week ago. Software installation went smoothly on my MacBook Pro/10.9.5. After reading the manual and watched a couple videos on line I was ready to use the software to calibrate my Nikon & Canon lenses. Canon 5D mark3 and Nikon D750 need user assist to run the calibration software which I was not very happy about but got used to it quickly. The only thing I had to watch for was to use a very sturdy tripod and use a very soft touch to change the setting during the test. Of course software takes some camera movement in to consideration when it displays the result. Target setup was not difficult for me and if you setup your target correctly your calibration results are repeatable. Probably the plus version would have been good enough for me. 5 |

I'm using this cable with a Canon R5 and Lightroom. The cable works well and I definitely recommend it. Having said that, a few bits of advice. 1. I had trouble with LR losing the connection. While not scientifically proven, I believe the problem is that the Canon EOS Utility fights with LR for the connection (even if the EOS Utility is only on in the system tray). In any event, it worked fine when I uninstalled the EOS Utility from the laptop I use for shoots. 2. In retrospect I should have chosen the right angle attachment for the camera. I think the tether guard works better with the right angle attachment. 3. If shooting on a tripod, the set up only works if shooting in landscape orientation. 4. The right angle attachment doesn't work with a RRS L-bracket because the USB-C port on the camera is slightly off center. Accordingly, the right angle cable doesn't go through the proper opening in the L-bracket. While I bought the straight cable, I subsequently tried a right angle adapter which is when I realized the camera port was slightly off center. Hope these tips are helpful. 5 |

I needed constant power for my Canon EOS Rebel T7i so I can use it as a webcam (with the EOS Webcam Utility). This works! The combo with the Canon DC Coupler DR-E18 is a little expensive but it's worked flawlessly so far. 5 |

My Canon sx740 is the absolute best utility camera for my hunting, birding and fishing trips. As a digital creator I cannot do without that 40x zoom feature. Great investment for my business. Big Daddy Lawler, Gettin' Outdoors With BDL 5 |
