Canon Video Camera Battery

Used this to replace the factory battery in my Canon video camera. Fit and worked great!

I bought this battery for use in a Canon xa10 video camera. It gave me the same recording time as the Canon battery. It worked great!

The canon video camera I purchased only came with in camera battery charging capabilities. This is the only option if you want to be charging a battery while using the camera for video recording. Plus, it take less time to charge with this charger.

Holds my camera, Video mic, Tascam Recorder, Canon battery charger, Watson battery charger, all of my SD cards, pens, highlighters, batteries, more batteries, cords, cables, lenses, ETC!! And there is still some room! This bag is great when you've got to get somewhere with most everything at once. It even has straps to hold your tripod! And I like the built in rain cover that tucks away out of sight when not in use.

I use this light on my Canon XH-A1 video camera. After trying all different types of lights, this one is the best. You can get hours of light from the included rechargeable battery alone and you have the option of purchasing a higher capacity battery for even more time. The light illuminates more than the 16:9 coverage. The kit also came with a bracket for stacking more lights if you need to. I don't see anything that I don't like about the light.

I am No Professional I guess! But I will tell you that I shoot some killer video with my Canon 6d and 70d and t3i and other cameras I have! I have this mic mounted on every camera I own! I even use this for my GoPro camera with the wired mic kit! Is this the best mic out there? Well I am sure you can buy a higher quality mic but for $$thousands$$ more! You can't go wrong with a mic for this price and get the sound that this mic gives. And the rubberized shock mount is perfect for run and gun video shooting and vibration! This mic uses a triple A battery but on any Canon DSLR you don't need a battery in the mic! It runs even without the battery! And it runs without a battery with my GoPro! If you are looking for a mic you can afford and get great results you better try this mic! if you want to take out the hiss noise which I hardly ever have then use a zoom h1 and run your SMX-10 mic through the zoom h1 and Done! Go ahead get the mic and get to filming and you will be glad you did not unless your just going to try to make millions off your videos!

This camera is actually far better than the expectations I got from the high scores seen in other reviews. In fact, I also own a Canon XH A1, which is an excellent camera, but in some shots where detail is needed and light is adequate this little cam sometimes seems to exceed that excellent $4,000 camera! This cam actually does fit in your pants pocket. The battery life is very good if you use the viewfinder. I took 1.2 hours of video at a conference all afternoon from one BP-315 battery pack. The little buttons and controls are NOT hard to use with your fingers, and are intelligently layed out. The camera is NOT hard to hold because it is light in your hand. It is easier to hold than the larger Canon XHA1, for example. The camera DOES take good low light level video. One need only slow the shutter speed down. 1/30 second shutter will provide de-interlaced nice video in dark room. You can go all the way down to 1/8 second too, and there is always the built in movie light, which has increasing range with slower shutter. At shutter speeds above 60 it produces interlaced 60i video, which can be kept as is, or deinterlaced with a program. I use it with a macintosh which has free iMovie HD. No additional software was needed for me. Problems Encountered: The camera does take a little time to start up, and then a little more time to begin to roll the tape so you must anticipate and plan ahead a little for your shot. This has not been a problem for me, once you are aware.Batteries are charged in the camera, so you need to charge up your battery collection in advance of a shoot. You can not shoot with one battery while the other is charging on a separate charging unit, because there is no separate charging unit. I am far from a professional videographer. My main purpose for buying this camcorder was for fun and to record those events that you want to always remember. If you can press a power button and a record button, you can use this camera. I realize that most are this simple, but the price and quality of this Canon will be hard to beat. I did purhcase an extended battery and additional SD memory card, but neither of these is immediately necessary as the standard battery will last as long as it takes to fill the internal memory with a full HD recording. The touchscreen is clear and allows you to touch an object or person in the shot to always keep it in focus. The hot-shoe will allow you to attach various microphones and lights, and it comes with nearly every output connection you could want in order to play your video directly to a television. I use a Mac and had no trouble copying video over from the camera into iMovie 11. This was a concern of mine at first, but after importing video at full quality I was very satisfied. It worked well without any difficulty. If you're looking for an easy-to-use camcorder that is flexible in the accessory department, accepts additional lenses, has incredible image stabilization (and I do mean incredible), amazing low-light performance, and Canon quality, then look no further. This camera fits the bill perfectly.

Great Charger. I bought this to charge the battery for my canon video camera because the charger that came with the cameara quit working. This charger is much smaller and easier to carry than the original. Great product.

Have used previously the Canon XA10 and the Canon XF405 for internet streaming in 1080p I have over the last six years recorded over one thousand programs. I felt that I took a little bit of a risk on the SL2-S because it's a hybrid camera geared toward video usage. First, I updated to the latest firmware version. Once the battery was fully charged I was happy to see that the SL2-S synched flawlessly with my Teradek encoder. I found the Leica menu to be well laid out, super crisp, and even somewhat similar to Canon's menu navigation system, only Leica's is cleaner and simpler in my opinion. The moment of truth was when I first began streaming with the SL2-S. The video quality reflected on my monitor was literally a jaw dropping moment. The video image quality is absolutely superb. It was then that I realized that the Leica color science really is all that its been heralded to be by Leica fans. I primarily stream video with the lens set on the 50mm mark. The autofocus facial recognition thus far has proven accurate after having streamed about ten programs, each about an hour in length. A few things I would like that the SL2-S doesn't have are a DC charging port/cord and a SDI output. However, the battery has ample strength and my new HDMI cord handles anything up to 4K, so there are no shortcomings for what I use it for. I look forward to utilizing the SL2-S for streaming, video recording and certainly for taking pictures. The build quality of the camera and lens makes this thing a delight to hold and use.
