Canon Vixia Hf R700 Digital Video Cameras

I use it for mobile video and photo shooting and carry my Canon T4I & Vixia HF R20, lenses, shotgun mic, travel & mini tripod, and random other things I have on me. I was excited to see that it can hold everything I need. I have been considering buying another one to use as a grip/tool bag. When I'm carry all my gear, I do not feel fatigued while doing so. It sits well on my frame and has several chips to keep it tight against me. While I never have had to use it. The fold away rain cover wraps around the whole bag and appears to be efficient.

I purchased the VIXIA HF M31 camcorder after becoming familiar with the slightly older VIXIA HG20 I purchased for work. I looked over several similar models outside the Canon VIXIA line, but found myself attracted to the VIXIA HF M31. I use this camcorder for both casual home video and professional work. The quality is THAT GOOD! The HF M31 uses 32GB flash RAM. There is no hard drive so concerns over shock or corrupt data are largely eliminated. It's also faster to power up and shoot when compared to hard disk based recorders. It includes a secondary SDHC memory slot for expanding storage space and allowing the ease of data transport from camera to computer. The HF M31 is largely controlled through a touchscreen LCD with a menu system that is quite intuitive. Setting white balance for changing light conditions is straightforward and quick. It will take some time to get used to the amount of pressure required to activate the touch screen. Perhaps the strongest feature with this camera is it's amazing image stabilization. Small hand-held cameras such as this one make it difficult to keep steady. However, Canon's stabilizer technology, especially when using the POWERED IS (Image Stabilization) button makes your video look far better than it should. Gentle pannning appears like it was shot on a tripod. Even maximum zooming shots hold tight in the frame. Audio recording is well above average for on-camera microphones. An input for an external mic is available. I have not yet used the mini-shoe for a boom mic, but have purchased an adapter in order to use standard shoe accessories. I highly recommend this camcorder to anyone wanting to capture HD video, up to the videomaker who seeks to take a small camera on the go. It's compact, light weight, and a big bang for the buck.

I am a novice videographer. I use the Canon Vixia HF S11 for family video. I have recently expanded to filming some of my archery hunting trips. The 64gb internal flash memory enables me to film for hours when I am out hunting. I have paired the camera with iMovie software and I am amazed at how easily end effectively a novice like myself can edit and put together a respectable movie.

I have a Canon Vixia HF-R500 camcorder. This cable allows me to connect to a usb capture device and live stream video from my laptop or computer to the internet. I use it with several different applications including video chat and video blog. The video quality is better than a standard webcam and I can pan and zoom, etc., and the 15 foot length gives me plenty of room to move around with the camera. Love it!

I use it with a Canon Vixia HF G21. It works as described. I can't image recording sports without it.

I bought this to protect the lens on my Canon Vixia HF S200. Works great.

... The Canon Vixia HF M300 Camcorder is a great little High Definition camcorder and the price I could nor beat. I went to all the local retail stores and no one could beat the price at B & H. ... it's worth it.

This dummy battery works great with my Canon Vixia HF G50 camera.

We wanted to get a compact video camera that shoots quality video. The Vixia HF M30 shoots fantastic video, even in low lighting. Order the larger battery pack and you can have over 3 hours of shooting time.
