This dummy battery works great with my Canon Vixia HF G50 camera.

Item was recommended as an addon for my camera Canon VIXIA HF M500. Installed on camera as soon as I received. Works to protect the original lens as well as providing a filter.

Bought this for my Canon Vixia HF G10 video camera, which has a mini shoe at the very back. I need to mount an Azden dual channel wireless receiver and a SunPak LED light. The hot shoe extension is 8 in. long and rotates and slides fore and aft for easy adjustment. I use it with a Pearstone mini shoe adapter. To prevent the whole unit from being front-heavy when loaded, I attached a small wooden leg that rests upon the camera top and it affixed with a bit of velcro to keep it from sliding. Works great. (as an alternative, I might look at the Opteka X-Grip (B&H # OPXGRIPBK) along with this extension. Made of strong plastic, so it's very light, but solid.

Wanted an external charger so I can charge the batteries for my Canon Vixia HF S20 outside of the camera. This works as promised. Fast, compact, secure.

I purchased the VIXIA HF M31 camcorder after becoming familiar with the slightly older VIXIA HG20 I purchased for work. I looked over several similar models outside the Canon VIXIA line, but found myself attracted to the VIXIA HF M31. I use this camcorder for both casual home video and professional work. The quality is THAT GOOD! The HF M31 uses 32GB flash RAM. There is no hard drive so concerns over shock or corrupt data are largely eliminated. It's also faster to power up and shoot when compared to hard disk based recorders. It includes a secondary SDHC memory slot for expanding storage space and allowing the ease of data transport from camera to computer. The HF M31 is largely controlled through a touchscreen LCD with a menu system that is quite intuitive. Setting white balance for changing light conditions is straightforward and quick. It will take some time to get used to the amount of pressure required to activate the touch screen. Perhaps the strongest feature with this camera is it's amazing image stabilization. Small hand-held cameras such as this one make it difficult to keep steady. However, Canon's stabilizer technology, especially when using the POWERED IS (Image Stabilization) button makes your video look far better than it should. Gentle pannning appears like it was shot on a tripod. Even maximum zooming shots hold tight in the frame. Audio recording is well above average for on-camera microphones. An input for an external mic is available. I have not yet used the mini-shoe for a boom mic, but have purchased an adapter in order to use standard shoe accessories. I highly recommend this camcorder to anyone wanting to capture HD video, up to the videomaker who seeks to take a small camera on the go. It's compact, light weight, and a big bang for the buck.

I just got this UV protector for my new Canon Vixia HF G10 Camcorder. It is exelent for outdoor usage such as the beach - where you have water or sand threatening to ruin your gorgeous camera lens. I personally like to shoot without filters in studio or safe indoor situations so that I get the very maximum image quality without extra layers in front of my image sensor. One down side is that when you install the filter on your camera the original lens cap barely manages to hold on to it and easily falls off...

Have a Canon Vixia HF S100 camera with the standard and BP-819 extended battery. Works well with both batteries.Has the advantage of more quickly charging the batteries and freeing your camera from the wall cord while the charging happens. The plug folds into the back, saving space and mitigating some damage potential in your camera bag.Downside: price.
