Bought this battery as a backup for my Canon G1X mark II. The camera uses a lot of battery power for all the features so I was always running out of juice. While the battery is expensive, and there are no third party batteries available as of yet (that I know of), this is a great accessory to keep you powered up all through the day. I would definitely buy again. 5 |

The only thing wrong with this is that it wasn't included in the price of the camera. It is the means of attaching a filter to the G1X Mark II, and it certainly gets the job done well. It is very quick and easy to pop onto the camera. 5 |

Bought this for my canon 5D Mark II camera, and chose the Canon brand over other less expensive 3rd party brands due to its solid construction and locking connector. I'm using this mainly for HD video timelapse. A common complaint with many users of this brand and others is that there is no power on/off switch. So far, not an issue for me, however. The battery drain is very minimal. 5 |
