Canon Wireless Printer With Wifi Ac

i needed up update our wifi for both speed and security. whether with an AC plug or POE, these wireless systems just work great. but then i expect that from netgear.

I wanted to upgrade my current printer with more capacity, functions and wireless printing. This printer reduces the of space needed on my desk.The set-up was a little challenging, as I was not aware the printer had it`s own WiFi. Initially, we were trying to connect on the printer WiFi and not our personal WiFi, so it would not read the printer. We called HP technical support and they were able to tell us the problem and it connection is great with both USB plug-in and wireless. I appreciate the wireless connection and the ability to print from anywhere. I am extremely impressed the speed of print for both black and color and the volume of pages for output. Replacement cartridge prices seem reasonable and when cost compared per page, it is much less than what I`m currently using. Scan, duplex, copy functions are easy to use and are clear to understand. I have not tried the fax function as I do not have a need for that at this time. Glad to have the option if needed.

This lightweight and portable computer has made printing so much easier! With this printer having a completely wireless option i can print just about anywhere in the printers wifi reach. I sometimes have to print things when i am traveling and this has made my life so much easier because i can easily travel with it and print when needed. I have been using my laptop and cellphone to print documents have found them both to be simple to use use and connect together. After taking the printer out of the box the printer set up takes about 15 minutes at the most to completely set it up. At first the print must be plugged in to charge a bit and the ink cartridges must be inserted. Once the ink is in place the printer needs to run through a start up process that took about 3 minutes. When it was finished with the start up i was able to connect my laptop to the printer via wifi. Once it was connected i was able to begin printing right away. When the printer is charged it can be removed from the charger and run wireless. The LCD screen has many different menu options and connection options that allows you to view the details of the printers current status. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive and try the Canon PIXMA TR7820. It takes a couple minutes to set up and troubleshoot WiFi connections, but once it’s set up, it’s easy to use. The WiFi capability is awesome, and makes it simple to print from my computer or phone. This is one of two printers I have at home. The other printer from a different brand is a black and white printer. That printer gets the job done for unimportant documents and work papers. I save my important work, flyers, handouts, color printing, or photos for this printer. You’re obviously not going to get professional photo prints from this but it does a nice job for what it is. It prints relatively quickly and the settings are easy to change on the touchscreen interface. I love that I can use it as a scanner. Lots of great functionality. The only drawback to this printer that prevents me from using it exclusively is the tiny paper storage tray. My other printer will hold an entire ream of paper, whereas the Canon can only hold about 30 pieces of paper at a time, which means I’m constantly having to refill it. Small con but if that matters to you, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, I’m quite pleased with this printer and will continue to use it and recommend it.

I had an 8-year old Brother printer that had bad connectivity issues in my home mesh WiFi environment. Then the time came that I had to replace all four toners, so instead I spent SIGNIFICANTLY less $$ to purchase this new machine complete with 6-months worth of toner (very light home office use; more scanning than printing). With this Canon I get modern WiFi to connect to our network. Everyone in the house can easily print from MacBooks, iPads & iPhones via WiFi. The Brother just couldn't find or stay connected to our network. Even plugging into the ethernet didn't solve that so the old printer could only be used w/ a USB cable. There are NONE of those issues with the Canon. Worked right out of the box like I expect from new tech. I'm impressed with the scanning software, too. Better than the Brother app, but YMMV So far very happy with this purchase. 5-stars. And as always, B&H makes tech buying simple. Plus next-day delivery over 100-miles from NYC. Flawless!! The Canon WiFi adapter works really well.

This is a great printer. It is fast even when printing from wifi.
