I recently picked up an Audio Technica BP2049 to attach to my Canon XA50 to record marching band performances. This combination is awesome but the wind can really ruin the sound. I picked this Auray windshield and it really made a huge difference. It's not a miracle worker. It can't block the noise of 40 mph gusts but it does greatly reduce the wind noice to a reasonable level. For light to moderate breezes, this windshield is great. I thought it was a bit expensive when I bought it but I think it was worth every penny. If you are going to spend hundreds of dollars on a microphone, you might as well spend a little more and get a solid windscreen. I'm very happy with it. The audio comes into the mic loud and clear. The only downside is it just barely fits my Audio Technica BP2049. You have to push it all the way on as far as it will go. 5 |

I have 2 XA50 this was exactly what I needed Great camera for the price. Love the fact that I can change the settings while I'm recording. Great for my dance recitals. 5 |

I think the connector is upside down. I bought this with a 90 cable thinking it would work great for my XA50, but the 90 connector points straight up in the air. I guess it still keeps the cable out of the way but I definitely didn't expect that. It doesn't matter when it comes to performance or anything, but you may want a straight XLR cable with this one. 5 |
