There are more high-end trackballs available, but they are pricey and the software is PC only. If you have a Mac and want to use a trackball, this is your baby. 5 |

Ahhhh.... B&H. The minute I hit the purchase button, I KNEW I made an error. I purchased the Windows version but needed the Mac version. I emailed B&H and they corrected my order, no charge, immediately and the software was in the mail the same day. Some people have complained about the software..why? It does EXACTLY what it's supposed to do. I connected the included dongle to my VCR and to my Mac, launched the software, hit play and several days and 60 VHS tapes later, I'm done. I did purchase a head cleaner and ran it a couple of times. Mostly the tapes were ok although some were banged up. Only to be expected, they are almost 30 years old. The Roxio software worked flawlessly and B&H was flawless also. 5 |

Bought this initially for Mac PPC. The software wasn't supported.. Got it loaded up on a MacBook and it works quite well. I was surprised to see you could adjust contrast , brightness, etc. however, I believe you can only do the adjustments prior to logging. Essentially, the software they give us a basic program to talk to the hardware.. wish they could have just made drivers and made it universal. Overall, very satisfied with what a decent product it turned out to be, especially for just digitizing family videos and analog media sources. The price was much more competitive than Pinnacle or Linksys. 5 |
