Canvas Camera Backpack Reviews

Used to having military backpacks with additional camera set up in it, I was always quite short on space with my daily backpack. Finally decided to try and find a real camera backpack, I had a look at a lot of brands, and a lot of YouTube reviews...Of all the backpacks I’ve checked, the Wandrd Prvke Lite caught my eye... That thing has style !!Once received, I had high expectations with all the great reviews I saw. One thing is sure, after a week of every day use, I have absolutely no regret ! My E-M1 Mark III with my 45mm lens fits perfectly, and I can easily add an additional 12-40mm as well as a 40-150mm and a battery grip ! All of it perfectly set !The easy access on the side, the back access helping to change lenses, the small pocket on the top... everything is just perfect the way it is ! (Not even speaking of all the great features... ). I personally went for the black version and added the orange straps... and I absolutely love it !!If you’re still hesitating, stop. Just go for it !@mister_micke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this backpack after watching a bunch of different reviews and found this to fit my needs as a travel backpack. Good size for my 14" laptop and my compact digital/film camera gear. I had to use my own camera cube divider from a different bag but it still works out perfectly!

I wrap my camera and lens so they can be carried in a canvas tote.

I am floored at the quality and craftsmanship of this product...I looked at other reviews and thought to myself, "This backpack can't be this good!" I was SOOOO wrong. The whole experience from the moment you break the seal on the packaging to putting equipment in the compartments and starting your day. Amazing! I get tons of people stopping me about this product. Super job Nomatic team! I love it!

I use the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap with a Lowepro ProTactic Backpack. One side of the strap connects perfectly to the rings located on the front of the backpack's shoulder straps and the other side connects onto a loop on the bottom of the pack on the other side. The BlackRapid backpack strap allows me to have quick access to my camera. With the camera on the BlackRapid strap, I no longer need to bring my backpack to my side to remove and use my camera. I now use my backpack only to store and change lenses. My camera can now remain outside my backpack, located conveniently to my side at hip level. When I want to shoot, the camera slides smoothly up the camera strap to eye level. I like that the camera hangs upside-down when resting on the strap. It makes for an easy get to position when my camera is resting at my side. This strap is amazingly slick and fun to use. I have to admit that I find myself playing around with it, like I'm some sort of gunslinger, showing off how quick I can be on the draw. I appreciate the movable clips provided on the BlackRapid camera strap. The two clips are easily adjusted, allowing me to restrict the movement of the camera to stay in one place on the strap when I am planning not to shoot. All of the attachment parts seem well made and designed. I keep the bottom strap strapped to the bottom of my backpack and store the rest of the strap in a small pocket on my backpack when I am not using the strap. Then, all I have to do is remove the strap from the small backpack pocket and connect the free end to the opposite shoulder strap . . . and I'm ready to go! I wish the piece that that screws into the camera (Camera Socket Attachment) was designed so that the camera could sit flat when attached, and if the design of the socket attachment would permit a tripod or mono-pod to be screwed into it without having to unscrew it from the camera. I absolutely love the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap!

I usually print on Exhibition Canvas Matt but for smaller jobs I decided to try Exhibition Canvas Glossy. It is really terrific, the print came out beautifully but with a little too much shine. I coated it with Clear Shield type C semi Gloss and it produced a perfect semi gloss seal. I print using an Epson 9880 using Photo Black this produces reasonable prints on Matt canvas which are enhanced by the Clear Shield sealer. Photo black ink and gloss canvas produce more pleasing color density, in my opinion, combined with the Clear Shield product.

The Pro Matte Canvas is the best canvas and compatible with my Canon printer. After I do the canvas print, I mount it on Gator Board from Uline. No more stretching canvas on frames...a great combination. Thanks to B&H for the canvas and the Canon printer. B&H is the best place to get all of my photo supplies.

Canvas has a slight metallic sheen that is more visible in lighter areas. Side by side comparison with Epson's exhibition canvas gloss, it is slightly more reflective.By reflective I mean it displays that metallic sheen. Weight is much less making it a bit more prone to tearing while stretching if not careful. I had to grind the corner off my pliers to lessen this potential. The real redeeming quality for me is the tough as nails finish. No liquid laminate required. It has rich color and a beautiful, uniform finish on a stretched frame, especially without a laminate applied. My first 10' test roll had roll marks every 8 on the last 4 feet of canvas making that portion useless. Still printing on the first 39' roll. Hopefully that problem will not be present. I like this canvas and will buy more. The price is high but not having to laminate makes it very attractive.
