This is a great design - it can hold Acoustics and Electric guitars with little chance of them accidentally banging together. 5 |

I have always used 10's on all my electric guitars. After watching a YouTube video that compared the tone of different gauge strings, I decided to switch to lighter strings. I'm really surprised that these don't feel too light for me. They have a clearer tone than the D'Addario 10's I was using. 5 |

Small Office, Several large acoustic guitars, several electric guitars. This stand handles the lot where others would only handle so many of the acoustics. The split top part seemed strange at first but now that I've gotten used to it I like it. I can tilt the guitars nicely in either direction with this feature. I didn't know that was important until I had that option. It feels solid, like it will last well. This feels like a good use of my money!!!! 5 |

i have bought many guitars both acoustic and electric, but this one the jemjr. is definitly my favorite by far!!! it is a beautiful guitar and plays like a dream!! the pickups are amazing, their sound quality is excellent and arangement is perfect!! it has a select blade switch with five positions to choose from!! And a floyd rose bridge (Ibanez) of course! WOW!! What a fine guitar!! I am jamming night and day!! Thanks Steve!!! 5 |

Yes you will get some bass roll off in the very very low end, so it will not go down to 5 hz like a set of 800.00 aphex 124a or 750.00 Arx distribution split. The 20 db of gain is a big plus, and of course having level control pots on all outputs, is an excellent feature. IF you are using to drive multiple low end subwoofers, you may wish to change the output capacitors. Existing ones are 10 uf 50 volt polar electrolytic, and you can easily change for 100 uf 50 volt polar electrolytic for a few dollars. Once you open the case these can easily be seen. The capacitors are easily available and are not expensive. If you try this you will need a solder sucker. Do not try soldering without one. Suck up all the old solder and remove the caps and replace all of then in the existing threw holes. They are marked for positive and negative on the pc board. Once you got them all in place just solder them back in. Once you do this for a few more dollars you can rival any expensive distribution amp. Would be nice if it was more than just 3 inch deep on the case. Most components are at least 6 inches. 5 |

I have four 84s and had to have a pair (from 1975) serviced for capacitors and a bias adjustment. One of the capsules had a loose need/pin and caused that mic to almost sound like an omni. Probably a backplate problem. I had the capsule replaced with a new one from Neumann and can't believe how perfectly it matched the other old one from the pair. No noticeable difference between the two, even next to each other above a drum kit. Amazing. 5 |
