Caps Lock Indicator Windows 10 Samsung Laptop

I bought it to upgrade our Samsung laptop. It fits and I was able to install Windows 10 with no problems.

The key board is first rate in terms of 'feel' plus it has a very useful lighted indicator to show when the Caps Lock is on. The mouse is functional but nothing special. All in all a terrific value.

Feels good to type with, not too loud either. My only wish would be for the NUM/CAPS/SCRL lock indicator lights to be visible from a slighlty lower angle.

Got one of these with a work laptop and liked it so much I wanted one for myself! Been using it for over a year and haven't had to change any of the batteries (I turn M/K off at night when not in use). Small dongle is easy to pack and unpack and never had any trouble with reception or latency between the dongle and the M/K. Has indicator light for CAPS lock, but not for number or scroll lock. Like the green/red indicator for on/off and the sleep quick key (not featured on cheaper models). Very satisfied with this excellent product and would purchase again.

This is just what was needed for more flexibility during presentations. Works great with my Windows 10 laptop.

Be using it to connect a laptop to Ethernet and work works without any issues in Windows 10.

Tested with Shure SM58S mic on windows 10 PC/Laptop. Works with both.

Pros: Very fast startup, Very easy to install using Samsung's Data Migration Software. I installed the 850 PRO by migrating my boot HDD to the 850 PRO and replacing the HDD (my C: drive) with the much faster 850 PRO. Everything went very smoothly in my Windows 10 AMD desktop. Cons: Samsung could do a better job on instructing the user on how to prepare the system prior to the start of data migration. For example there should be a set of instructions informing the user to make sure the AHCI driver is loaded on the Windows 10 system prior to the start of data migration. If you don't use AHCI you will not get the maximum performance from your ssd. If you install the AHCI driver after migrating the data to the ssd and then replacing the hdd with the ssd, you may lose the ability to boot the computer from the ssd. Windows 10 does not install the AHCI driver in a fresh install of Windows 10. Samsung should have step by step instructions on what to do to make sure we get best performance for which the ssd was designed.

I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work?
