Capture One Cost

Previously, attempting to capture a good Matterport would mean hiding a broomstick, or a very steady hand. Results were very varied, and stitching in multiple spots in the capture. The other alternative would be a $3000 dedicated camera. This is a brilliant product. We can now use the iPhone in our pockets (models with a LIDAR scanner) and capture great Matterports! The process is seamless and the quality I would say is 90%-95%. Some stitching may still occur if your placements are too near a wall. The app works well with the Axis and the Axis will work with any tripod stand. I only wish that the Axis would swivel vertically as well, to capture the ceilings automatically, but I guess that would make the product more expensive. For its cost, its a no-brainer. This makes Matterports a possibility for the rest of us, without a prohibitive cost.

The color separation is quite apparent. I have ordered three for use on all of my lenses. The cost I accept as the price you pay to capture the very best images.

I bought this lens back in '15 or '16 back before there were any small light weight and low cost pano rigs. The one thing it has is contacts on the back for AF and info transfer of metadata. I used it for Milky Way's, cave photography and landscapes of Horseshoe Canyon where photographers do multilevel panos while standing on the very edge with no cord tied to camera gear or self to get a combo for down to the river as well as sky. But with just one capture you get all as well as sharpness to the horizon. The key is it is not for the capture of a whole but the story of all close and far.

I have older format video to capture and this has been a simple, cost effective solution. Works well and B&H service is outstanding as always.

I bought this lens to enable me to capture family portraits in confined rooms and wider vistas outside. The 12 - 60 does a great job but is not quiet wide enough for some areas. I entertained the thought of the 7 - 14mm but could not justify that cost, the 9 was my compromise. I searched the planet for a reasonable cost and B & H prices were the best - Again - I love this lens for what it does and is intended to do, take sharp, crisp, wide angle shots with minimal distortion ( used within it's operational design and capabilities) I definitly recommend this lens to add versitility to your System and photography skills.

This upgrade to my previous Logitech C-922 was well worth the extra cost. I appreciate the higher quality available, along with the Logitech Capture and Logitech Tune software, especially the flexibility of choosing between multiple fields of view.

The EVO 1 TB drive is a cost effective way to capture video when used with an Atomos Ninja V, for example. It will hold up to 7 hours of HD and 1.5 hours of UHD from a Sony A7 (4,2,2, 8-bit). Although intended for internal use, the EVO can be mounted in an inexpensive module which fits the Ninja.

I have the Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2 which works just fine. I needed a second capture and this one works very well as I would like.
