Not all accessories come with a foot protector and it's easy to misplace the protector on those that do. Having spare MIS foot protectors in a know place eliminates this problem and keeps your contacts covered.

I've been working on a stable platform for shooting video from a car/safari vehicle. The main problem is that most video heads for tripods have a leveling handle under the head making it hard to mount and level on a vehicle door. This leveling device allows me to use a smaller video head on a flat platform strapped to the car door. That silver ring has to be loosened to level the head. The only problem is that it takes 2 hands for me to loosen it, level and then tighten it again. If it was a little wider it would be easier to loosen with one hand and maybe faster to level.

Nice little ball head that adds flexibility in the field. I use it with my Panasonic GH4 and, with such a light weight body and lens system, this little gadget is a great match for doing videos or single shots from the car. Easily and tightly adheres to the door, placed on door from inside through the car window and allows shooting either while still or driving slowly along a raid through a park or wildlife area. Really like its small size.

Excellent car door support. My guess is it works better when mounted outside but due to wind I wasn't risking it and mounted it inside, it just limited my complete movement with my telephoto and flash bracket. Overall though a big improvement to bean bags, etc.

I just got it yesterday and it can make noise for the whole car. You can hear a little bit of it if you are outside the car door is closed which is honestly impressive to me. My friends have told me that there is more bass in this model of Extreme, if you haven't owned a midsize speaker I would definitely pick this one over the Extreme 3 and that's coming from someone who owned the 3. Great battery life also.

I use this in areas where I cannot get out of the car. I go on a wildlife drive and it's not safe or allowed to be in the same area with Bison. I use this Car door lens support mount with a Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal head. My lens setup is a 600 f/4 II prime with a 1.4 or 2x III extender. I can rotate it enough to get it inside the window so I can close the window during cold weather months. You can either mount it inside or you can mount it outside of the vehicle on the door with some minor modification. It has a bubble level which is nice but I rarely use it because the vehicle is rarely on a level surface. I use the in camera level instead and adjust the camera accordingly. I do shut off the car at times to get sharp photos and avoid motor vibration. This is an awesome setup but you are limited to the side you have it mounted on. I would keep a smaller 100 - 400 handheld setup to take photos on the opposite side of the vehicle. The screw does want to thread into the metal. which can make it difficult to remove the gimbal at times. I just make sure I apply upward pressure on the knob to avoid it hopefully they will fix this in a future revision but not a deal breaker.

I thought that the Coast Crew might find this funny. My hands were full as I was preparing to get into the car so I stuck the pm550 to the car door on the outside. I had forgot that the light was stuck to the door and drove off entering the freeway for approximately 20 miles. When I exited the vehicle I noticed that the pm550 was still on the car door. Thank you once again for a strong product that is truly quality.
