Car Audio Setting

Used to connect devices to the car audio input.

Audio is great. Only issue I had was setting it up since I had to get the update via my PC to make sure BOTH buds worked via the dongle.

I put this on the podium to record audio for a presentation to put over video of the slides. After setting input levels, it worked great. Worked with USB extension cord as well.

Voice audio is Job One for shotgun mikes and at 8-10 feet with 0 db setting, the voices were sparkling clear with solid db levels. Compared with my Rode VideoMic Pro, the Sony is far more convenient on the A7R4, more compact and much sturdier, performs analog to digital conversion within the mic, and sounds better to my ears out of the box.

Using this in a church setting. Works great. We currently run two inputs, 1) Camera, 2) Media Shout. purchased this with the option dual 7 LCD display panel (this is a must). The unit has several different abilities for PIP (Picture in Picture), which is nice if you want to place the media shout slides down in one corner as the videos are running through. There is an audio control as well, where you can run the audio from say your sound board to the unit as it then heads out of the unit to its final destination (in our case, several Lobby TV's and an encoding server). The slider handle feels good in the hand (some have mentioned it did not feel as if it had weight to it). There is enough resistance that it allows for smooth transition. All in all, we are quite happy with it. Would like to have gone with HD (this unit supports SD only), but that bumps you up several thousand more. Only down side, the documentation could have been a bit better on hooking everything up for a first time user.

Multi use gear: Audio: mic boom tripod angle setting. Video: camera accessory such as fixed shadow for camera lens. Lighting: white reflectors, shields you name it! Well made, solid, an absolute must have.

I am a videographer in Cleveland and I mostly work by myself. So when I am on a shoot, I'm setting up the audio, the lights, the modifiers and my camera. These are a great, compact solution that fit in my car (and my equipment wagon), easy to set up/take apart and have the Matthews quality we all know and love. If you are looking for a great way to bring flags and nets with you but don't have the space, I highly recommend picking this one up! Oh and I opted for the 24x36 over the 18x24 because I figured I would rather be in a position to have more than enough coverage than have a smaller flag and need it to be larger.

I edit audio & video all day, and can't imagine using anything else. Setting up the buttons for custom functions makes editing even faster.

i use this product in a church setting. it embeds 2 audio into hd 720 59.97 without any problem. easy software allows for adjusting audio gain.
