Car Camera Dash Cam Rear View Mirror

I set this up as a rear camera, the included cable was log enough for my Toyota Avalon and connecting to the Garmin Drive app went as expected. I can control both cameras from the App Front camera. Garmin Dash Cam 47 Rear camera Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2

This is my second dash camera from Garmin. I use it for a rear view. The size is phenomenal. It doesn't attract attention. Very good software. Voice commands are very well designed and functional. It syncs with the front camera and works very well with the parking cable. The image quality is pretty good.. Higher resolution would require a lot more disk space.

This camera uses the same chips as some higher end dashcams, and that is what I mostly use it for. As a dash cam, it has all the features of the better ones, plus you can use it out of the car, where regular dashcams are not a good option. The very wide angle lens is a plus in certain situations where regular cameras won't cut it. It's not Nikon quality, but for around $ with the same mounts that GoPro cameras use, it has it's uses.

Exactly as described. Hooked up the usb-to-lightning cable and hdmi. This is used in my car so I can mirror my i6 to the in dash nav (pioneer nex6100).

This dashcam is very small and can be easily hidden behind the rear view mirror. Very good video quality during day or night. It's very intuitive to use, and therefore doesn't come with much documentation. The app is ok and allows for trimming and saving videos. Since the dash cam doesn't have a video display, you need to use the app to adjust the camera direction. This is ok for a one-time setup. It would be nice if the dash cam came with a microSD card, but that's easy to purchase and fairly cheap.

I have it installed in my truck's dash cam and it works Great! I regularly view and transfer footage of incidents from my travels, and the captured video is crystal clear with no problems whatsoever, so I definitely recommend it for this application as well as other video/picture recording... I also only paid a little over $20, with shipping included.

I used this in my car mainly for my dash cam and to charge my phone. Previous car chargers (probably 1A or less) I've had can barely keep my phone battery at the same level over a long trip (using nav + pandora). However, I was able to use google maps, pandora, and get my phone from 60% to 100% battery level for driving in about an hour. 2.4 amps per port is awesome. Blue LED is a great touch, very visible even during bright daylight. Haven't gotten a chance to use it at night, but I don't think it will be too bright. Got a second one to tinker with to see if I can change LED's to match my dash.
