Car Cd Slot Magnet Phone Holder

I got this case along with the car mount and couldn't be happIer! The case is so rugged and the magnet secures the phone to the mount very well.

It is just what I wanted to keep my CD's in the car.

I bought this for my Van, since there’s no where is else to put a phone holder…and this is awesome!! I love how strong the magnet is and how adjustable the holding arm is. I have a S21 Ultra and held off on this purchase for a while. One, I already had a magnet (for magnetic car mounts) attached to the back of my phone case; two, I truly enjoy my current phone case (Poetic brand); three, my car has Android Auto and so I don't really need my phone to be visible while driving. That said, I've been interested in Peak's mobile accessories for a while (primarily the tripod) and so finally decided to bite the bullet (a week after the holiday prices, sadly). Along with the case adapter, I purchased the mobile tripod, non charging car mount, and the universal bar mount (to be used on car steering wheels so I have my phone nearby when not in my own car). Suffice to say, once I pried my old magnet off and attached this adapter, my life felt like it changed. One, my charger stays in place when my driving (courtesy of the phone being held securely in place and not sitting in a seat); two, mobile tripod (duh); three, I can drive my parents' cars and not lose my phone (bar adapter); and four, this adapter is as secure as can freaking be (while also still being able to use my favorite phone case). Suffice to say, I've been recommending this adapter (and system) to any of my friends who are willing to listen.

I was always skeptical of magnetic mounts and passed several deals on Woot or other sites. I chanced upon a demo setup in the store and was very impressed with the hold. Bought one and installed it in my car. The base with the magnet attaches via sticky tape to the car. The magnet part is a ball/socket contraption in the base and can be held in a suitable angle by tightening a plastic nut. A metal plate goes on the phone. The metal plate can be inserted between the phone and case, or directly glued to the phone (plate has a sticky side). My purchase came with two plates a small the size of a quarter and a larger one the size of a credit card. I used the larger one on my iPhone 6 plus. I just put it in between the phone and case. The magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 6 plus at highway speeds. I have even run my car on rough spots on the streets to see if it would fall off. So far so good. I am yet to see how well the glue on the base holds up when summer comes along. One of the best uses I put this mount was attending a meeting, the kind of meeting where you have to dial in to listen and occasionally say a few words. I stuck my phone in landscape mode with gotomeeting running on it with audio streaming into my bluetooth headset.

Wanted a system to hold my phone between my car and two motorcycles, and Peak Design has the best of all worlds! The magnet is strong and phone doesn't move.

Love this phone case - looks great and works seamlessly with the magnet on my car mount. I have found that inadequate magnets have always required the addition of additional magnets on the phone or back of the case. Not with PD - the magnets work great and take that issue off the table and enables compatibility with "mag-back" wireless charging. Great product, great design. You guys rock!

I've owned several car mounts in the past, but they each had their own problems (magnet not strong enough, difficult to mount/unmount with one hand, cumbersome to adjust angles, etc.). This car mount, however, solved ALL of those problems, and also fixed issues I didn't know I had. The magnet is strong and my phone sticks to it with confidence. The arm separates the mount from the vent just enough, allowing its arm to freely rotate. The locking system firmly grips the vent and does not rattle. The mount also pivots, allowing you to control the angle at which the phone is mounted. And this can all be done using one hand. It's also built like a tank. Absolute game-changer. Worth every penny.

Anchors very well to the car vent and phone securely attaches by a magnet. Plus it charges the phone as a bonus.

I would hop into the car, but never found right spot for phone. I would put phone on car dash shelf, drive around a corner, not speeding mind you, and phone would fly across car, or end up under seat or down side of seat or wherever! There would always be that annoying charger cord getting tangled and in the way and usually ends up broken. But now….hop in car, easily place phone on holder - it stays there no matter how many potholes I drive over and…..the best part…..it charges on holder! The cord is concealed with little clips so no more annoying cords in the way. Absolutely love it! And because it is a permanent fixture, it counts as handsfree.
