The Impact MC-03 Magic Clamp not only is very useful for desks, but also very useful for bed frames! This is going to be my primary use, watching YouTube and movies hands free while I lay down facing up nice and comfortable with my pillow.  This reduces fatigue holding a phone in bed for hours and trying to watch my content sideways and still having to hold the phone. Not anymore! The gooseneck is made of metal, everything else is plastic. There are two types of people, the ones that break everything they touch, others who like to add a little finesse handling things. The ABS plastic is a hard plastic material, so the plastic clamp that attaches to surfaces, I find it sturdy, has a strong bite. The phone holder being made of plastic, even loading with a heavy iPhone ProMax, it holds the phone fine, there is NO NEED to over tighten the ball mount. That is the ONLY part that requires a little finesse. This in my hands will last a long time. Yes, it would be nice if the whole unit was made of metal. but it's going to cost more of course. Pros:  1-Very flexible (and metal) gooseneck, and even mounting in a bed frame which gravity will want to pull the gooseneck down, it stays! The phone holder can tilt a little, allowing minor adjustments to be exactly parallel to my face mounting it on my bedframe frame and at a perfect height. 2-Clamp has a nice bite. Cons: 1- Phone mount plastic parts may be a little fragile for some users. Just be gentle with the phone holder ball mount and you'll be fine. You do NOT need to over tighten. I bought this for my wife who drives with her phone plugged in and upside down in a cup holder. I read reviews of other similar accessories that were less than favorable and chose this Belkin device when I found it can hold an Android in a protective case. The device is heavy for its size giving the impression that it is well made. The phone is very well supported and the device sits securely in a cup holder.

This holder works perfectly for my outsized phone. Because my cup holder is in the rear of the console, it rotates and tips forward. I would not look down to the screen in heavy traffic, but have BT connection. Great for a tablet too.

The smartphone car cup mount is great! What I like most is that the phone can be displayed in either portrait or landscape position. Ill be ordering another. Very happy with my purchase!

I've tried a number of vent mount and cup phone holders for my car. This one took first prize. Can suction mount on dash with provided sticky plate or switched to windshield. Nice

I would hop into the car, but never found right spot for phone. I would put phone on car dash shelf, drive around a corner, not speeding mind you, and phone would fly across car, or end up under seat or down side of seat or wherever! There would always be that annoying charger cord getting tangled and in the way and usually ends up broken. But now….hop in car, easily place phone on holder - it stays there no matter how many potholes I drive over and…..the best part…..it charges on holder! The cord is concealed with little clips so no more annoying cords in the way. Absolutely love it! And because it is a permanent fixture, it counts as handsfree.

This is probably the best film holder you can find for flat bed scanning!

I searched seemingly forever for a phone holder for my car. Nothing worked. Decided to check with Peak Design because of the quality and innovation of their products line. Bingo! This is high quality and worked great. You just need to follow their instructions and guiding information to a tee. The only thing I regret is that I did not order the charging car mount because of the price but now I wish I did! This product works well, and pleases me aesthetically. PD also has accompanying videos for most of their products. Recommend to watch those before and after you purchase as they are informational (and quite entertaining too!) and answer a lot of FAQ. Highly recommend!

This is single handed the best mobile phone holder for your filming with an iPhone (as well as your car, boat, head or just about anywhere) If only they made a connector that attached the phone magnetically to the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 gimble and my life would be complete. I have faith that the genius’s at Peak Design are already onto it
