Car Fan Control Switch

Switch works as expected, powering 12W of devices across 2 ports, and the fan is not audible at all (Fan level stays at 0). Very happy with the additional ports. 5 |

I placed this switch in one of my pinch point. It supports speeds at nearly 100% rating. This Network Switch does not have a fan but a large heat sync on the top, so it sits on my desk without adding noise to the work area. I added 10GBaseT Transceiver so that it talks to my backbone at 10 Gbs. Even not knowing whether the CAT6 cabling would support the speed, it did and the performance is solid. 5 |

I like that it includes a volume control, a power switch and audio control. 5 |

Big fan of the two-way switch that allows you to either speak for a moment, or leave the feed on permanently. 5 |

Great fan. So happy to have 4 pin so I can control with my bios fan pattern. 5 |

Have only had it for a few days, but I love the power switch and volume control on the remote. 5 |

I have been a long time Bose fan - even basing my last 2 car purchases on them having a Bose system. I have several pairs of headphones, home theater products, and almost every generation of Bluetooth speaker. The Original Soundlink Mini was my favorite, still, until I got this. I'm amazed at this little thing - when you set it on a table, it resonates and fills the whole room with huge sound. Honestly, I don't think I've been this impressed with a small product's ability to sound so big since Bose brought out the Wave Radio. I added an S-Biner to the loop so I can hang it up. When I'm cooking in the kitchen, I just hang it on a cabinet door handle or a hook from one of the pot holders and it's out of the way, but still sounds amazing. 5 |

I am normally not a fan of the mid range zooms but this one really takes car of a lot of shooting needs on the GFX. lightweight, sharp, did a great job on a number of projects including the move of the Concorde recently. 5 |

I am a physicist. (energy physics not matter physics). I am also a sound engineer, coincidentally, the control of sound energy. This amp is VERY GOOD for bench testing audio control devices and speakers. The addition of an unbalanced input makes it very handy for typical bench tests. Because I am retired I also use commercial speakers for my home stereo system. Use of commercial speakers is much cheaper than consumer speaker products that, by and large, do Not provide full range audio despite deceitful specs claiming otherwise. The commercial speaker is also built to last and far more reliable than consumer designs. (will last decades under home stereo use... my last amp lasted 31 years... speakers are still going strong) I use this amp as my home stereo amp driving 1,200 watt rated commercial speakers that actually reproduce 20Hz. (actual amp power use rarely exceeds 75 watts peak and 25 watts average) In that unique use... the amp fan noise is detectable so I place it behind a glass paneled cabinet. Aside from fan noise, the amp performs very well and for the price is one of the best bargains there is. Keep in mind... the typical consumer stereo amp is Designed To Fail and the primary reason is.... no active fan cooling. (a flawed design that minimizes ambient noise) The amp provides plenty of dynamic headroom (nearly 6dB under typical home stereo use) and presents no excessive noise floor problems. I use a receiver with balanced XLR outputs, a balanced 31 band EQ to drive the amp and control volume. My speaker connections are Speakon. Bottom line... A very good simple amp for multiple purposes at a very good price. If you are an engineer who loves music and movies you will quickly recognize the wisdom of putting up with a bit of fan noise to achieve excellent performance and very long term reliability. 5 |

I have the edgerouter pro, which in hindsight if I knew I was going Unifi I would have got the Unifi Security Pro, so my vlan settings didn't replicate from my router to the switch. However I had already set up my Unifi AP with the vlans, so when I plugged in the switch it pulled an IP, populated my assigned vlans, and just started working. I went back and turned off the POE on ports that didn't need it, updated firmware, assigned vlans to specific ports, and called it good. This is the way networking should be. P.S. I've heard people complaining of the fan noise, I have mine in a vented enclosure and the fan hasn't had to kick on once. 5 |
