Car Mounted Camera Stabilizer

actually it already saved my life once, I was balancing the camera on a stabilizer with a monitor mounted on it and the whole thing mounted on a tripod. Monitor connected with hdmi cable with this little device, the camera slid off the stabilizer and the only thing that saved it from smashing to the floor was this tether and the hdmi cable.

I bought two of these.  One for a Velbon camera tripod and another for my Zhiyun Crane Plus gimbal stabilizer.  I mounted these on a Panasonic GH3.  This quick release works perfectly on the Zhiyun Crane and it makes setup a breeze.  The locking mechanism is easy and secure to use.  The fit is perfect--nothing moves or wiggles.  Also the levels are very useful when using the stabilizer.

I recently received my Oben Car Window Mount, and while I have not had a chance to use it in the field, I did put my camera on it and mounted it on my truck window. It holds my camera quite solidly, even with a long lens and is easy to use. I think it is an excellent value and I recommend it for any photographer who travels a lot via automobile.

I use this camera in my vintage race car mounted to the roll cage. Why would anyone spend 400.00 when they can run this camera. Easy to use and works incredibly well. Battery life is great.

Easy to use and really reliable if used properly. I am using it with a DSLR for car shots. Camera can't be mounted directly to the pump so make sure to order a Manfrotto platform camera.

I just finished my first shoot with this mic. Mounted on the camera, took lots of ambient sound and an interview at a car show. I'm very impressed with the quality and its ability to focus in on what's going on in front of the camera. I was very happy to see JAPAN imprinted on it (I'm assuming that means it was made in Japan). I don't have anything negative to say about it. I'll be using it for general videography such as weddings, sports, and other events.

We needed a way to control the side grip on the FX6 from inside a car while the camera was mounted on a car rig and this worked great!

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.
