Car Rear View Mirror Flip

These radios are amazing. Installed in my Jeep above my rear view mirror and I am stoked about it. It’s small enough to not be in the way but is great for communicating with fellow Jeep’s. I used the ghost antenna so that it didn’t get wiped out by limbs on the trail. I’m thinking of purchasing the 6db antenna to help increase my range. I feel you can’t go wrong with this radio! Will be purchasing another for my sons Jeep.

This works well as a head strap but it also works if you want to use it to wrap around something that may be easily scratched. This could mean the side view mirror of a car or maybe just to wrap around your pet. Over all, this product is one to have handy.

You need this adapter when using Vixen Flip mirror in order to use 2 eyepieces.

I purchased the Vixen Flip Mirror Diagonal for Astrophotography, therefore, I needed to also buy some accessories. Thanks to fellow reviewer, I was able to get all the accessories at the same time as the mirror. My setup: Celestron EdgeHD 11 - Tele Vue Schmidt-Cassegrain Adapter-Long - Vixen Flip Mirror - T-Mount for Canon EF-M Canon Camera. On the upper tube of the mirror: Vixen #37292 T-Thread to 2 Eyepiece Adapter 2 Celestron 29mm eyepice.

I also picked up this camera for the rear of my car and it nice and compact enough that you can fit anywhere.

Couple this adapter with the Vixen 2” flip-mirror for an ideal combo. Allows easy stable switching between eyepiece sizes and easy framing for your image.

This is a great little unit up until I started using this flip mirror I was having a hard time taking photos with my universal set up this eliminates all of the vibrations in the telescope and allows me to really zoom into my target while the telescope slews .. great product....phil

I accidentally discovered to my surprise, if you flip your mirror up and use your viewfinder, you can get awesome shots. I’ve used with 7 d mkii, and a canon full sensor. Opening the viewfinder and mirror lockup makes a huge difference in preventing shake and can be spectacular

Flip mirror works well but to save time don't forget to purchase 2female to 2 Inner Diameter Barrel Rear (I got Tele Vue Schmidt-Cassegrain Adapter - Long for my Celestron Next Star 8 SCT). My set up: SCTelescope - Tele Vue Schmidt-Cassegrain Adapter-Long - Vixen Flip Mirror - T-Mount for Canon EF-M(screw in directly without rear tube)- Canon M. As usual B&H service is great.

I used the Vixen flip mirror with my Televue 85mm telescope and Canon digital camera to photograph the 21.08.2017 total eclipse from western Kentucky. The flip mirror fit securely in the 2 focuser on the telescope. The right angle port with the eyepiece tube removed accepted the T-ring for the Canon camera. This was especially helpful given the 62 degree elevation of the sun and made focusing through the camera viewfinder easy. In other photography situations an eyepiece can be used in either port with the camera in the other.
