It is a really nice product.High quality. It is a little hard to get used to it, but once you got it, it will make an amazing results. Consider buying quick release plate with this product, makes life much easier ) Also your hands have to be in good shape, because it get heavy with the camera and your hands get tired fast. But it is still great product with amazing results

Consider buying several extra batteries. Especially useful when learning how to use all the new camera features you will burn through a battery quickly. Quoted test results indicated battery lasts for 444 shots but I understand this testing is done with use of flash and a lot of LCD review time. Real life you will probably get many more shoots for each battery.Camera has a very detailed measure of battery life on the screen so as to prevent sudden surprises that your battery is dead. The extra battery has a great plastic case so it is easy to carry several in your pocket or vest.

Always had it and now I have 2 Found the old one under the car seat. They work great, never had any problem

I would hop into the car, but never found right spot for phone. I would put phone on car dash shelf, drive around a corner, not speeding mind you, and phone would fly across car, or end up under seat or down side of seat or wherever! There would always be that annoying charger cord getting tangled and in the way and usually ends up broken. But now….hop in car, easily place phone on holder - it stays there no matter how many potholes I drive over and…..the best part…..it charges on holder! The cord is concealed with little clips so no more annoying cords in the way. Absolutely love it! And because it is a permanent fixture, it counts as handsfree.

I tried this out with my 100-400 lens and found it very easy to pan/tilt. The only thing is I have to be raised up in my car seat to use it. I see no reason why others spent much more $$ on other brands. This works fine. Solid build. BTW, you can't go wrong with B&H !
