Car Side Mirror Security Camera

This works well as a head strap but it also works if you want to use it to wrap around something that may be easily scratched. This could mean the side view mirror of a car or maybe just to wrap around your pet. Over all, this product is one to have handy.

As a part time investigator, I often have to move my video camera from one side of the car to the other. The Car Window Mount by Nikon is simple and easy to use at night. Adjustments may be made easily without having to look for the controls.

It's the case I us while I have the camera by my side in the car, ready to be grabbed and used, so this protects the lens well.

I film mostly away (via the plane). When it's local (at least getting there by car), this is my new go-to bag. The next size up was back-ordered. My Red Komodo rigged-out barely fits...with no room for anything other than the rigged-out camera with attached accessories (see photo). You can get the audio accessories and most other essentials in the side pockets. I do use the unique wrap for a couple of extra lenses and I can get them in the main compartment of the bag as well with the camera. However, depending on the size of my lens, there are times I just can't fit anything else but the rigged body. I have a matt box, lens, monitor, main komodo body, and v-mount on it along with side handles (both sides). If I put on a 24mm Canon or 24-70mm Canon lens on it, it's nearly toughing on every side of the bag. None of this is a reflection of the bag, however, and I'm just sharing how it fits. I should have got the next size up (but it was back ordered and I had a shoot coming up) and honestly, this is one of those lifetime kinds of bags that I'll always be happy I own. I love how sold the thing is. It retains its shape well. I love how it opens up without taking more real estate on the left and right side...it allows you to grab the camera in a packed car or in the back seat of a truck easily. I was very surprised how helpful this was for me on my last two shoots using it. The build quality is excellent. It feels like a life-time bag to me. I strongly recommend it.

I loved the sleek, slingback version of this bag, but one shoulder would always get tired without the ability to switch and the strap would fray because my gear is super heavy. While Ruggard honored the warranty on the strap, I opted for this two-strap deal and will never look back. I hate the thought of spending hundreds on a bag, and Rugged is perfectly priced for what they offer. Outter padding, customizable dividers, plenty of zip compartments, and a tripod attachment is all I need. I can fit 2 Canon camera bodies, my 50, 16-35, 100-400, filters, batteries, my iPad, wallet, keys, pens, business cards, allan wrenches, charging cords, and a rain jacked for me (the bag has its own) with ease. I also like that it doesn't look specifically like a camera bag when I travel. Handy trick... If you don't like securing your tripod on the bottom (because it's hard to then set the bag down), stick a leg in the side pocket and use the upper security strap to latch around it. It works like a charm. On the other side, I add a water bottle in the side pocket with a carabiner through the lid. The top security strap slips through the carabiner and voila! Everything I need is secure.

A little bit on the heavy side but it's worth it for the steadiness and security it provides!!!

Have used it in a moving car mounted on the cieling near the rearview mirror and managed to capture the dialog from the driver, passenger and even from the back seat. Much better than lavs when talent are wearing seatbelts.

Exactly as described. Hooked up the usb-to-lightning cable and hdmi. This is used in my car so I can mirror my i6 to the in dash nav (pioneer nex6100).

We needed a way to control the side grip on the FX6 from inside a car while the camera was mounted on a car rig and this worked great!

I used this on the side of my car this winter, 21 degrees f, and it never fell off!
