If you appreciate a well designed, light weight, compact tripod, the 3 Legged Thing Leo 2.0 would be a good choice. I bought this for a trip to French Polynesia and it performed flawlessly. It held my Nikon D850, a heavier camera, well even at full extension. It is easy to use, collapses into a fairly small space, comes with a carrying bag, and can be converted into a monopod. I only got the tripod, but there are a number of accessories, including several different styles of feet. This is a well thought out piece of equipment that is supported by other 3 Legged Thing equipment and accessories. 5 |

I really enjoy taking pictures on vacation. When we do car trips, I usually take my SLR with an assortment of lenses and accessories. For flights, I don't want to bring a lot of heavy gear and find this ZS100 to be a great alternative. The pictures are nearly of SLR quality and it has the flexibility to cover almost every shooting situation. All this in a really compact form factor. If you are willing to go a little bigger, then a Sony RX10 III or IV would be my next choice, but I wasn't willing to give up the small size and weight of this Panasonic. 5 |
