Card Stock Paper Box Instructions

This is my second Falcon Paper Cutter. The first one lasted over 20 years and went to several continents with me and cut reams and reams of paper and card stock. It finally broke this year and I was heartbroken as I was having a hard time finding a new one. So I was ecstatic when I discovered that it was still made and was available at a good price. I like the fact that you can easily replace the blades and the cut is sharp and crisp every time whether cutting several sheets of paper, photos, or card stock. It's a great little cutter!

I have a set of old photos and this paper stock is perfect to separate them inside the archival storage box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, setting up the printer hardware was a breeze. I unpacked my HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e according to the detailed instructions from the box. I found these instructions to be helpful. The printer was contained in a plastic bag with handles to aid in removing the printer from the box. Initially, I used the Quick Start Guide. I was able to plug in the printer, select my primary language and location, load paper into the tray and insert the ink into the printer. A sample page printed out and I was able to successfully scan the page to align the printer. In total, this took approximately twenty (20) minutes. Setting up the printer’s software was as bit more challenging for me; however, persistence pays off. I found it relatively easy to connect the printer to my WiFi. I needed to research, and experimented some, in order to connect the printer to my computer. With persistence, though, I was able to successfully connect the printer to all of my electronic devices. This printer is wonderful! I really appreciate the fact that it has the capability to print 2-sided pages which saves a lot of paper. I signed up for the FREE three-month ink promotion and already received my first shipment of ink to have on hand when the initial ink which came with the printer is exhausted. The printer prints quickly and quietly which is a plus. I am completely satisfied with the printer’s performance and am confident that I will appreciate it even more as I learn more of its features and capabilities.

I purchased this as an upgrade from my 3750 for 2 main reasons: The screen is larger and I wanted the rear feed and rear slot option. (The rear feed will feed paper from a pop-up area located at back of machine. The rear SLOT will feed paper straight through from back to front (after removing a piece and making an adjustment). The rear slot will print on media up to 1.3mm thick. Anyway - after setting up the printer, I was anxious to experiment with these features (mostly the rear slot, as I wanted to create my own decorative card stock for use with die cutter). I could only find ONE sentence in the entire user manual that addressed selecting the rear slot, and it was a NOTE: It said to select the rear slot, choose the option with the appropriate paper size. I kept choosing 8.5 x 11, but did not realize there were further options. (See first photo). However, to choose rear feed, you go into different settings, first choosing layout, then printer settings, then paper source. See 2nd photo. I think these 2 options should be located in the same place. (I use MacBook with Monterey). I also found one other limitation working from the printer console. There is a nice feature to print decorative card stock or lined paper. If you choose lined paper, you are offered the rear slot as an optional paper source; if you choose decorative card stock, you are not! I believe the rear feeder (which loads and prints without curving the paper around the way the main feeder does) will meet most of my card stock printing needs. After much research, this feeder can handle card stock of 100 pounds (or more).

Super happy with our new printer. It does what it says it will do. Fantastic that I can again use card stock, heavy paper and index cards. Of course, it also prints beautiful photos.

I bought this printer a little over a week ago. I have run envelopes, and offsize cut sheets. I have printed over 2000 images. Blk ink, as well as color. I have run card stock, and gloss paper. YES. Regular gloss paper, text and cover as sample tests. It prints double sided on text weight only. Heavy card stock is to thick to make the turn, so best to run double side manually. It has a custom page size setting which for me comes in handy. Image is sharp and crisp. Have yet to test t-shirt transfer paper. I likey. :-)

I use this Epson 4x6 paper to print out pictures that I affix to Strathmore card stock. Between my printer and this paper the images come out beautifully. Initially I was going to order through Epson directly and also checked out Amazon but got a much better deal with B&H. The only issue is that unlike some items from B&H it took about 7 days for them to arrive.

I am using this product for my watercolor paper and card stock. I love it! My paper lies flat and will keep for quite some time.

This is an amazing paper. I love the thick quality, almost like a card stock. I never really experienced the curling issues some have commented on. One thing about printing on my Epson P800 printer. First set the printer for thick paper in the maintenance tab on the touch screen. Then in the Epson utility, set the paper thickness to 13. Make sure that you have both the front and rear supports set correctly as the paper will have ink smudges on the end if it sags as it exits the printer.

I use this paper for printing photos that I then make into note cards by cementing them on card stock. The color and overall appearance is excellent. It is my choice of paper.
