Card Stock Paper For Invitations

This is the perfect paper for making cards: invitations, thank you's, portfolio. I use other sizes of the same stock to make books. One of the great things about MOAB for this purpose is that the boxes are marked GL or GS as part of the product number to show the direction of the grain (long or short). Very useful for book arts though I suppose you'd need to be in the store to verify.

I use this paper to print birth announcements and party invitations for my greeting card company. It is a nice chunky weight that is perfect for a flat card and the fact that you can print on both sides is great. The texture is lovely, like a smooth cold press watercolor paper, just enough texture to look artistic but not take away from the printed image. Colors come out brilliant and fonts are super crisp. The only downside I can find is that it doesn't fold very well, so I only use it for flat cards. If you are not interested in folding it this paper is perfect.

This is my second Falcon Paper Cutter. The first one lasted over 20 years and went to several continents with me and cut reams and reams of paper and card stock. It finally broke this year and I was heartbroken as I was having a hard time finding a new one. So I was ecstatic when I discovered that it was still made and was available at a good price. I like the fact that you can easily replace the blades and the cut is sharp and crisp every time whether cutting several sheets of paper, photos, or card stock. It's a great little cutter!

This paper is great for invitations and post cards. Nice and thick and prints well on my ink-jet printer.

I use this paper for presentation of photograph prints, stationary, cards and invitations. The paper has a durable quality that makes it great for presentation and archival photo printing. It has a great feel and with sharp colors and just makes for a great matte photo paper. I love this brand any type and will buy it again and again.

I use this product to print samples of water colored renderings, event invitations, etc. for my clients at our design firm. The quality and texture gives our prints a professional and hand painted look. The paper is also very compatable with our inkjet printer. My only complaint about the paper is it's high cost!

I am a graphic designer and print a lot of my own work (invitations, cards, etc...) I love this paper because of the cotton feel but the great color saturation. I use a mix of photos and line art and reproduce paintings and other fine art pieces on this paper and it renders beautifully! Only downfall is that because of the softness of the paper I have to clean my printer often because of the fibers, but I guess that would be the case with any cotton inkjet paper.

I used this transparency film for my wedding invitations. I wanted something that would create clear crisp prints and this film did exactly that. Additonally, I didn't want a flimsy film with the invitations having to travel through the mail. Each sheet held its structure, even after being printed on. Initially I had trouble discerning which side was the printable side, but upon a little inspection I discovered that one corner was notched indicating the printable side. I liked that I could use this product with my Canon photo printer and didn't have to hunt all over the planet for the proper paper profile (Glossy worked out perfectly!) I did notice that much like glossy photo paper, if you held it in your bare hands it would sometimes leave finger prints. But the box did include a warning about handling it by the edges. I settled on wearing gloves which worked just fine. Also, I appreciated that each sheet was separated by a sheet of white tissue paper. It helped with separating the sheets and squelshing my fear of them smearing when stacked atop one another (But I do recommend letting them dry a minute or two before stacking-just to be safe.) My biggest problem with this product was that when I ran my first sheet through the printer, the film was curved, so that it got jammed in the printer, and smeared ink along the edges. (If you could imagine my panic, knowing I needed to print 100 invitations using this stuff!) I ended up taking the remaining sheets and squishing them between two big and heavy books, then leaving them in my hot car to cook and hopefully flatten out. After about 12 hours, I ran a seemingly flatter sheet through the printer and had no problems at all! Operation Wedding Invitation was a success! I will be buying more of this product to try printing some of my photographs on, since I so massively enjoyed how my invitations came out. :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
