Perfect for carrying the beauty dish - much better than using the cardboard box. :) 5 |

We were able to get about 1,380 slides in ours - standard cardboard mounts. Good sturdy box. 5 |

I work as a professional illustrator, and bought this lightbox a few weeks ago to help with altering and fine-tuning my sketches. So far it's been a great purchase! The lighting is very even, and the box turns on easily - just push and hold the button for a few seconds and the lights will come on reliably. The surface is also a great size - wide enough to comfortably work with my drawings. There really aren't any major downsides... I suppose if I had to pick on something it would be the wire legs that left scuff marks on my table. But that's not a major issue, nor does it alter the effectiveness of the product. Also, I do wish that this had a carrying handle, but really it works fine without one of those. All in all, I would recommend this light box! 5 |

I was looking to buy a light box for digital scanning of vintage negs and transparencies. I had my heart set on one of those fancy Kaiser Plano Slimlites, when the Covid threat seemed like every source of lightbox would disappear. I thought digitizing all my old film images would be a cool way to spend my quarantine time. I have a DSLR with macro lens, set on aperture priority, and was ready to go. So I snatched this one up in a heartbeat. Turns out it does the job perfectly, and being only 4x5 I'm able to use negative carriers from an enlarger, and don't have to mask out any stray light on the sides ( which would have to be done if using a larger lightbox). I have a lot of 4x5 negatives and chromes in my archive. One of the beautiful things about this light box, is I can just lay the 4x5 film right on the light surface without need of any carrier or film holder. It takes up most of the light box surface, so masking for stray light is not really needed. And 4x5 film originals are so flat and rigid, no holding device is required. If my collection of film originals was only 4x5, I could almost shoot 100 sheets of film in 100 seconds! 5 |

This box has perfect light diffusion with minimal loss and is replacing an older lightbox (FWIW I have purchased many brands for many strobe systems - I purchased the first 72 [?] Chimera in Dallas way back in the 80s! ) When these type light modifiers were just becoming known...Photoflex rose to the top. It is one of - if not THE best - at their price point. Can't go wrong. 5 |

This Lightbox came ready to use out of the box. Of course, it's easy to use. And it's strong enough to weather the most rough use. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in a relatively cheap Lightbox that's perfect for home use. 5 |

The Kaiser Slimlite Plano 5000K Lightbox Is an outstanding lightbox with a large viewing area, AC or battery operated and most importantly the 5000K output provides a neutral, white light that helps render tones faithfully. As an added benefit it also serves well as the light source for when I copy slides and negatives using my Nikon 850 and the ES-2 duplicator. So far I have copied over 1800 images from my 50 years of film photography (only 253,000 images to go) and I must say the fidelity of the images was definitely directed impacted by the quality of light put out by the Kaiser Slimlite. Outstanding quality and build. The Kaiser Slimlite is a product is a must buy. 5 |
