Cardboard Box Ipad Stand

We use this product for a stationary imaging study of a rotating object (none of us are photographers). For this purpose, it works flawlessly in providing us with stable and repeatable camera positioning. Its heavy base and sturdy mast keep the camera still despite the harsh environment in which it's deployed. We found the stand easy to assemble (full disclosure: we're an engineering firm), even though several of the required fasteners were loose in the box. The assembly instructions left something to be desired, but again, we're an engineering firm and had no trouble. Our only REAL issue was the packaging the stand came in: a triple-walled cardboard box within a triple-walled cardboard box, both secured by monster staples. This was the biggest pain of the setup process. The product itself works exactly as advertised.

This stand is great. It folks out nicely with that quick detach handle and holds up a cardboard box with my dads old undershirt wrapped around it that I've been using as a lightbox for the past couple years. It is really ridiculously heavy, but you'll still need something or someone to hold it down because the power of mother natures wind will take it for a ride with a box on it.

I was looking to replace the cardboard box i have been using this summer and this stand is perfect. Small enough to disappear on my desk. strong enough to stay in place. The adjustments are easy and hold my laptop at the right level for Video conference calls. Not the cheapest but worth what I paid for it.

Perfect for carrying the beauty dish - much better than using the cardboard box. :)

Nice case to replace your cardboard box! For the price it's great

We were able to get about 1,380 slides in ours - standard cardboard mounts. Good sturdy box.

Had to get a case for my new iPad Air I got for Christmas. Started to look at the Apple Smart Case but the reviews mostly said it would stand on its own. So when I got a B&H email promoting this case and already having an Otter Box case for my iPhone 5s that I really like, I had to research it. It looked good and the built in stand in the cover was just what I was looking for. After finally getting my hands on it I started the assembly process. The protective case was a challenge installing to say the least. Trying to keep dust out while putting the case over my iPad was a trial in frustration. Once the case is on, it's a bear to get off. I had to put it on and off several times while using a lens blower and a lint free rag to make sure I had no dust under the cover. Once I got it all together the worst part was over. It fits like a glove and feels very purposeful. It really didn't add as much bulk as I would have expected. The outer rubber case really gives a feeling of secure protection. The best part is the removable cover. There's an ingenious built in stand that folds up to prop up your iPad in four different positions and down to install the cover. This definitely the best purchase decision I could have made. Very pleased with my Otter Box iPad cover.

The Otter Box for my iPad Mini is very sturdy and provides a stand that works in portrait or landscape modes.

Fine film---as always. Arrived in a battered cardboard box half broken open---probably the shipper's fault.

Got this for my Benq W1100 projector. Cardboard box was wearing out, and needed something stronger.
