We were able to get about 1,380 slides in ours - standard cardboard mounts. Good sturdy box.

Out of the box, the rubber smell is pretty strong - but it will go away in a week or two. The quality of the rubber is better than others. It stays flexible even in low temperatures. I have several other B+W rubber hoods, and they are all durable.

Have this unit hooked up to a Ma ini, 2.5 external raid 1 setup, and Netgear router as a personal cloud server. The unit gives my Ma ini and external drive enough time to automatically shutdown, using the included USB cable & power management in Mavericks. I have also noticed this battery pack acts as a great voltage filter/buffer. My commercial complex seems to knock drives offline from voltage spikes and with this new battery pack I have yet to have my external drive pop offline. Biggest con is the unit right out of the box smells pretty nasty like an electrical melted wire smell. The day I opened the box is smelled really bad, this is with the unit off and in the BH box. Plugged it in and the smell dissipated but I'm guessing the smell must be some of the chemicals from the battery and/or plastic(s) of the product. My wife thought something was burning when I opened the box.

The box came in looking dusty with a moth ball smell, but the the item is new and great. needs to worked in a bit. All the techs love its compact size a durability. they are putting in a request for a 2nd unit

Incredibly sturdy, heavy-duty construction. Strong new-tire smell when box opened but dissipates within a few days. Interlocking tabs at ends for attaching multiple sections end-to-end (I bought two for cables at wide French door). Two longitudinal channels for better cable organization.

Fine film---as always. Arrived in a battered cardboard box half broken open---probably the shipper's fault.

Got this for my Benq W1100 projector. Cardboard box was wearing out, and needed something stronger.

Awesome lens for scenery, landscapes, cramped interiors ... really opens things up! Packaging was excellent, lens was inside a sturdy metal box with heavy duty foam inserts, inside a durable cardboard box, inside a padded cardboard box from B&H. This lens seems very well built, gives sharp images, and has features I wish other lens makers would use in their lenses; the hyper-focal distance scale, click stop infinity detent, and raised 'lever' on focusing ring to name a few. I would definitely recommend this lens as an inexpensive, lightweight, super-ultra-wide-angle lens !!!
