Cardboard Box Wall Shelves

This came packaged in a cardboard box surrounded by wood braces, very nice. I have purchased other brands that always come in damaged, not this one. The metal is thicker than the other brands I have. The shelves are adjustable, they slide out for convenience. Lots of Room. If you fill up the shelves you can fit a LOT of stuff in this. I put a digital hygrometer in to check the accuracy and the unit was within 1 or 2 percent. OK, things that could be better. The keys must stay in the door when it is open, you cannot set the door to unlocked and take out the key. The light is very small and only lights up the front of top shelf in each section. The shelves are sturdy, but plastic. The thermometer only shows Celsius, you cannot change it to Fahrenheit. All in all, I am very happy with this unit. It beats my other cabinets by a long shot. When I need another, I am buying another one of these.

The cabinet arrived well protected with styrofoam cushioning inside a thick cardboard box with surrounding wood crating. The shelves were in place and padding was already on the shelves. It was easy to set up. The front two feet are screw down to keep it from rocking. It plugged in and turned on immediately. As has been stated by others, the shelves are plastic and feel cheap. They work and when pulled out they remain in place supporting the equipment. There’s no fancy slides and rollers like a kitchen drawer. We’ll see how they last, long term. The 120L cabinet is large enough for my lenses, cameras and flash. It allows me to organize and consolidate things. Overall, I’m glad I purchased it. It should protect my gear during the muggy summer months.

Perfect for carrying the beauty dish - much better than using the cardboard box. :)

Instead of using regular shelf brackets I attached these wall plates to shelves in combination with right angle plates mounted to wall as brackets for the shelves in my photo studio. Also these shelves can be removed with a simple twist of the knobs, and use the right angle plates on wall to mount another light when needed. Kept that Photo Studio vibe going while being modular in usage.

I was installing shelves in my photo studio, instead of using regular shelving brackets I mounted these right angle plates to wall in combination with 5/8 receiver wall plates as brackets for the shelves in my photo studio. Since these shelves can be removed with a simple twist of the knobs, I can use the right angle plates on wall to mount another light when needed. Kept that Photo Studio vibe going while being modular in usage.

Nice case to replace your cardboard box! For the price it's great

We were able to get about 1,380 slides in ours - standard cardboard mounts. Good sturdy box.

After reading tons of glowing reviews I finally bought an R12, top shelf and base shelf.� The cart arrived in a damaged box and was missing parts. The top shelf looked like it had been returned and was also missing parts.� They were quick to send me the missing parts.�� Maybe the design has been revised but the top shelf went on easily for me and wasn't of a poor design as so many had said.� The bottom shelf leaves some to be desired. I do not like how some of the little swinging holding plates require unorthodox tighening (gripping threads with pliers and using a box end wrench) and one couldn't be tightened at all due to the design.� Also note that once either of the shelves are attached the cart can no longer be folded down unless you remove the shelves. Not a problem for me as I plan to leave it fully assembled all the time and haul in van. I love the lightweight, no flat wheels/tires. If you are buying this for transport in a smaller vehicle such as a car then I can see why the loose assembly would work pretty well assembling and tearing it down every trip. Now that I've used in on a couple video production jobs I must say overall I love the cart. One of the plastic cover knobs has already broken off leaving exposed metal but it's not a big deal.� Working on some mild mods to attach other gear to it now.� It really makes life easier. Glad I got it and despite my initial skepticism must say that the cart is indeed a great tool. Hard to believe I've gone so many years without one!

The shipping box that the cabinet arrived in was well padded so it arrived in perfect condition. Sleek styling with five pull out shelves and two padded stationary shelves. Pull out shelves are plastic, which I'm not crazy about, but they are sturdy and when loaded with gear function well. Have a little bounce when fully extended but I don't get the feeling that it will be a problem. The doors have to be fully opened to extend the shelves, otherwise they catch on the seal. There is an LED lighting strip down the right side of the cabinet that illuminates adequately. A little smaller than I had expected but it holds all my sensitive gear with a little room to grow. Took about 18 hours to drop the humidity to 40%, which is the lowest setting. Makes no noise at all. Door locking mechanism floats around a bit but I think that it just needs to be tightened and that will not be an issue. Comes with two keys. Would recommend this cabinet for any photographer with a moderate amount of gear.
