Case Fan Not Spinning But Light Works

Personally I am a Pelican fan as it is... But this case just seems so light even though it is packed with 7kg worth of equipment... The case has 2 secure points for locking, the carry handle is really sturdy and super strong which allows for the case to be roughly handled. One thing I must comment on is the opening and closing is all lot smoother and easier than on some of the other models which is a delight!! There are no cons to a product like this and the values for money you recieve is well worth the spend!

Solid build, quiet (for spinning drives in an enclosure with fan)..

Works very well even with older tripods you just need to add some double sided tape to keep them from spinning if you twist them. But they will not come off even if you don’t add the tape.

First, I bought this case because I am a fan of Peak Design Product. But later I found that the SlimLink is very very useful that I may use it to mount on my bike and in my car.

I’m not a backpack fan and have bought a few and always went back to my bag. But this one is worth it. Light weight and well organized pockets that still keeps it light weight. I had to make a change because of neck and back issues and would recommend this bag.

Works beautifully with Adobe. No more spinning beachballs.

Got this for backups. But then the Samsung T7 I got was so slow I decided to use that for backups instead. This spinning disk drive is actually faster than the Samsung SSD! It's the most utterly stupid thing Samsung ever did with the T7. The T5 was a solid performer, the T7 a dud that can be lapped by a normal old hard drive! Anyway, this works exceptionally well for a bus powered spinning disk. I keep all my projects saved here when travelling, then I make copies to a disk array when back at home base. My only gripe is that I wish it was USB C.

As other reviewers have noted, the drive is extremely quiet for a spinning hard drive. Of course, it's not silent like an SSD. But, a little ambient noise and the whirr of the drive completely disappears. It's also very fast, at least compared to the Seagate Expansion 5tb drive that I had been using before this one. I could transfer a ~150gb folder of photos with 40k items in about ten minutes. The blue light on the front of the drive isn't ideal, but it's bearable. Otherwise, the drive has an extremely sleek look that will complement a modern desk well.

Case came in great condition, no scratches on the glass, fan and wiring works. This was my first PC build and I had no complaints trying to build inside of this case. The case looks great with the tempered glass. I would definitely recommend this case for simple builds or first time builders.
