Case For Ipad Pro 13 With Magic Keyboard

I’ve been using my 11” iPad Pro with the new Magic Keyboard since its launch and it’s a game-changer for professionals that need a robust typing tool for those looking for a compact and relatively lightweight workstation. While the iPad Pro is still relatively limited due to the OS (iPadOS 13), there are workarounds for those that are open to expanding/exploring new ways of using this combo for their needs. The 12.9” iPad Pro with this Magic Keyboard takes things to a new level as the bigger screen with the full-size keyboard (similar in size to the 16” MBP’s keyboard), you will see that the Magic Keyboard had turned the bigger 12.9” into the defacto MacBook Pro 13” LITE. 5 |

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! Good Luck! & Cheers! M. 5 |

I have a Magic keyboard for my IPad Pro, and love it-but it only works as a cover and keyboard. At times I want to use my iPad Pro as a writing pad, necessitating taking it out of the magic keyboard. The Smart Keyboard, while laking the touch pad, fold back allowing me to use my ipad with the Apple Pencil. I love it. 5 |

I purchased the 11 iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard as an eventual replacement for my older laptop. With several weeks of use, the keyboard exceeds my expectations. The user interface and touchpad function are so much like the MacBook the transition has been mostly seamless. While small, the keyboard works very well with my adult male hand size. It's pricey, but works great! 5 |

The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth. 5 |

Although this keyboard seemed overpriced, I decided to splurge because I wanted a keyboard for the new iPad Pro. The Magic Keyboard feels well-built & solid while typing. I like the way the iPad attaches by magnet & together they make a very tight unit. It does add significant weight so that may be a consideration for some. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. 5 |

This will mostly be opinionated but iPad Pro magic keyboard is a better overall experience than my 15” 2018 MacBook Pro. Feels more natural as a mobile device and nearly just as powerful as my MacBook Pro.. just the lacking OS for more pro software. But once apple updates to silicon series chipsets I wouldn’t be surprised if they overhaul all apps and allow Xcode to be run on the iPad. At that point, no need for MacBook. My point being that magic keyboard and iPad Pro duo feels great, great typing experience, solidifies it more as a pro device and eagerly getting close to MacBook Pro territory in terms of performance. 5 |

I purchased my iPad Air with the Apple Magic Keyboard. That keyboard is great for stationary use of the iPad (for sheer typing, it is better than the ZAGG and comes with a trackpad. However, I did not feel at all comfortable placing the iPad in a backpack with the Magic Keyboard; it did not protect the sides and the Apple Pencil was only secured by the charging magnet (it always came off during transport). With the ZAGG, the iPad is much more protected, and it secures the pencil to the case while also charging. The iPad can remain in the case, while either removed from the keyboard or reversed for use as a tablet. The Keyboard has a USB-C charging port, so an additional cord is not necessary (if only Apple would upgrade the iPhone to an USB-C…). It also holds a very long charge. If you travel a lot or frequently move your iPad, I highly recommend this keyboard. 5 |
