Casio Ex S200 Digital Camera

I always say Casio is not your grand children's keyboard. I own a number of Casio keyboards and digital pianos. They sure put out quality and pro features for excellent prices. The CT-S500 is no exception. It is indeed a bargain. All the instrument sounds are of high quality. I needed a smaller keyboard and I started out with a Casio CT-S200. I liked so much that I wanted a little more features and I ended up buying the CT-S500. It's good to know that the Bluetooth audio/midi dongle that came with the CT-S500 can be used also on the CT-S200 as well as many other Casio keyboards.

I got these with my Casio Privia PX-330 digital piano. They sound awesome.

Excellent digital sustain pedal. I purchased this to use with a Casio digital piano to replace the pedal that came with the keyboard. The SP-2 is weighted and stays in place on the carpet. It feels like a pedal on an acoustic piano, which is what I was looking for. My son has used it for a couple of weeks with no problems.

I bought the Vixia HF S200 to video family vacations, my kids sports, birthdays, etc. This camcorder does more than I need, but I had the privilege of using a friends Vixia HF S11 (successor to the S21/20/200 series) for these occasions over the past year and was very pleased with the results.I chose the HF S200 over the HF S20/21 for two reasons. I found that I didn't miss the EFV while using the HF S11 and I preferred recording to the removable SDHC cards because I edit my video with either iMovie or Final Cut Express so I loaded all video onto my computer then cleared the cards. If I used the internal memory on the HF S11 I had to connect the camera to my computer and the camera had to be plugged into power. Too much hassle for me. Recording to memory cards is a simpler method for me. I simply remove the cards from the camera and upload them using a card reader. I just didn't see spending the extra money on internal memory that I would not have used.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. The video quality is excellent and out of the box ease of use is great. I have not yet dealt with the manual controls, nor have I used the camera under low light conditions so I can not yet give an opinion to these functions. I have read many complaints about the touch screen, but I found after about 10 minutes of familiarization I found I preferred the touch screen over the joystick of the HF S11 (just my 2 cents worth). So far I can't find anything I don't like about this camera.There is a firmware upgrade to enable the HF S21/20/200 series to accept SDXC cards if you need the extra storage... found B&H to have the best prices from a reputable dealer. This is my first purchase from B&H and WOW am I impressed. After placing my order I received several emails updating me on the status of my order. ...t.I will most definitely shop B&H in the future.

I got this to use on a Canon HF S200, which has a good factory microphone. I like this mic much better. It doesnt pickup the camera noise,or the videographer noise. It fits the camera well, but has to be mounted with an adapter to Canons mini hot shoe. A great mic for small to midsized camcorders.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.
