Few Cat 5 cables cost $, even 50 foot cables. This one does and is worth every penny. We use a 50 cable because we move between machines with the connector, while the modem stays stationary. The cable has a thick outer covering that appears to act as superior shielding. Long cables usually lose speed; this one does not. The heavy outer sheath also decreases the tendency of the cable to tie itself in knots. The cable gets heavy use and lives up to it. 5 |

This is used to connect a Cat 5 Ethernet to a type-C on my Chromebook. It is delicate, but does the job. The body does get warm when in use, something I was not expecting. 5 |

Had to run a cat 6 cable under the building as the old cable had seen the end of its life. The Pro AV/IT Cat 6 Heavy-Duty Snagless Patch Cable filled the bill nicely and it was a very easy run installing it under the building which is a not so nice environment. It was easy to run with no kinks in the cable. I feel confident that this new cable will far outlast the last one. 5 |
