Cat Radio Bluetooth Microphone

This is a great microphone, it really is built like a tank. It improved the quality of my films by about x10, it really is that good. Everything is tucked up in one small package. The Cat cover works really nicely, just be sure none of the cat hair gets into your shot. I ruined and entire shot because of the cat. But thats just operator error. I probably dropped it two times in one day, without any problems or damage to the mic, I was quite surprised and relieved. It's a great step up from the Mono shotgun Video mic, but its for a diffrent purpose. But it is built much tougher, and much heavier. I use this with my Canon Gl-2 and its a great combination.

Really an amazing microphone, works very well and sounds great!! Really looking forward to use it with a dead cat ( when rode wool make it available) for outside shooting, sound really bad (not usable when windy)without a dead cat outside... Happy about the versatility of that microphone.

I've had a good experience using this microphone. It picks up clear audio and it comes with a large dead cat for windy days. If I had a complaint it would be that it doesn't come with a second smaller black foam wind cover for more calm days because the dead cat that it does come with is quite large.

I had one of these the last few years, and lost it, recently, so I ordered this new one. It is very convenient for when I suddenly hear an unfamiliar bird, or need to document a rare bird. Sound quality is good. The only problems are that (a) the gray fuzzy wind protector (you absolutely need a dead cat like this to block wind noise, but it comes in the package--no extra charge) falls off easily. Fortunately, each time that I lost it, I walked around in the desert or the forest, until I found it, and (b) the microphone, itself, can fall off, and get lost. You have to constantly maintain awareness of whether or not you have the microphone and the dead cat.

This dead cat microphone reduces a lot of the wind noise. it also performed very well in the rain as it rained pretty hard on two football games I was filming. I just let it dry out and it worked fine the next day. This must have if you’re filming outdoors.

If you are recording outdoors with a dead cat on your microphone, there is no guarantee it will not pick up bad wind noise. This microphone has a send port so you may plug a set of earphones into it to monitor the sound and have a chance to correct sound issues before they reach your editing program.

Love this microphone! Gives great sound and comes with a wind shield although I went ahead and bought a dead cat anyway. Highly recommend it!

I've always loved using these in radio, so when I had to build a microphone distribution amp, this was my first and only choice.

This new radio updates the excellent old Tivoli radio by adding bluetooth - which allows us to play internet radio and songs from our iphones and ipads. The only downside is due to wireless reception, not Tivoli - if the signal isn't strong, the music can be interrupted. But that happens rarely. We highly recommend the radio.
