The cable arrived promptly, thanks B&H Photo Video, unlike the standard yellow cat5, this Cat6 unlocks the newer faster connection from modern Xfinity routers; I was especially impressed with the fact that the cable is looser and less kinked than those cheap yellow cat5 cables. I was looking at running caviling through are home, but I didn't. I had previously used cat6 wire through the house to my office when I needed the speed. After a short setup my speed now matches or beats the previous cat6 I had used. 5 |

I bought 4 of these TRENDnet Switches. They work as advertised, with 1 Gigabit speed over CAT6 Ethernet Cable. I used the Cat6 Snagless Patch Cable ( B&H Item: PECC6SL100B ) for my installation and the switches work just fine. They are small, come in a metal case, never get hot and you can daisy chain them. The version I received has the power connector on the left side of the switch, NOT at the back as pictured beside the ports. Hope that helps. 5 |
