I am currently using this for gigabit Ethernet. The cable works well, though the connector release is a bit on the stiff side. Note: 1Gb Ethernet doesn’t need Cat6a cables (Cat6 is perfectly appropriate; Cat5e is adequate but marginal), I just got Cat6a for future-proofing. 5 |

We used 2 of these boxes, with Whirlwind sheilded Cat6a cable and couplings. Ran 300 feet between the 2. Had no issues. Clean sound. We also ran 1 channel of 3-pin DMX with audio running on the other 3 channels. No problems! We love these. 5 |

I was surprised at how clear and responsive the web cam was connected over a 50ft USB cable. The cable being plenum rated, I know it is safe for use above the drop ceiling. Excellent product. 5 |
