I purchased this Comprehensive Category 6a Ethernet cable in lengths of 3', 7', 10' and 50' and all of them perform perfectly. The 10' length was a special order item but it arrived within two weeks. My only suggestion is that this cable be made available in colors other than blue, such as black, white, red, green, orange, pink. purple, brown, and gray. With specific regard to the blue colored cables offered by B&H, the blue is quite dark which makes it difficult, especially under typical domestic household lighting conditions, to read the black markings on the cable. Otherwise, this is a great product. 5 |

This is the way to go if you want to expand the bandwidth of your home network without running ethernet cable, and IMO is far superior to powerline adapters. They are truly plug and play, and require no setup at all once correctly connected to your router. My home was built with coax running to each room. I bought the 2 pack of these adapters to get more bandwidth for media streaming to my TV, and I am getting close to the advertised gigabit speeds. Just make sure you also buy a MOCA POE filter or else your data will travel out of your house into the cable network ... they are cheap so buy one and save yourself the headache. Also, these are not compatible with satellite TV .. only cable. 5 |
