Great value for your money! Especially when you have the education discount! Students sign up for Education discount at B&H, it's so worth it!

These are a great value. I purchased them with the B&H education discount. They were a great deal, and I highly recommend them. They are very well made and work just as any silvered umbrella should. The only possible complaint is that the shaft is hollow, so clamps can leave a dent in it. It would be nice if the shaft was solid metal, but that would also make it cost more. These are a great value, but you do get what you pay for with the hollow (but otherwise very well made) shaft.

This is far cheaper then through apple with either student or employee discount!

Apple already provides top-notch customer care; however, AppleCare provide one extra layer for peace of mind. I also own the new Aluminum iMac's and have never had to cash in on the AppleCare (knock on wood); however, the peace of mind knowing that if a time comes, I'll be taken care of pays for itself....it's why Apple is the forefront in computing technology and has revolutionized so many aspects of the computing arena.

This is the third generation of the Mac mini that I have used in my design and printing business. Apple packs a lot of computing power into a small package. It’s great to be able to re-use keyboards and monitors. Set-up is easy if you are familiar with the Mac environment. Performance is noticeably quicker than my older machines. Unfortunately, the basic operating system has expanded to include everything from grocery lists to cloud storage to location snooping. I don’t need any of these services and it took some time to turn them off and stop annoying messages. Apple should also remove Mail and Safari from the OS so they can be updated independently.

I use this workstation for all of my computing needs and it's a beast. I love the attention to detail that Apple give their systems. It is so quiet yet so powerful especially after I added 2 more gigs of Ram and another internal drive.

Apple Care is the best warranty for a Mac, no doubt. The the discount given by B&H when you buy it along with a Mac is unbelievable.
