I purchased these mounts to hang a pair of ~20lb. ea bookshelf speakers on my ceiling to use for an ATMOS setup in my home theater. I appreciate they are overbuilt, with a steel safety strap, and solid hardware included in the kit. When you're planning to mount something heavy and blunt at or above head height, you want to be confident that the thing isn't going to come crashing down on you. Very happy with these, would buy again.

Works great with my new computer without vga socket. I do many presentations with it and even where a projector has hdmi often only the vga is available because of ceiling mounts, etc. Has worked well and is much smaller than some other converters I've seen.

These are just what I needed to mount surround sound speakers to the prewire electical box mounts in my new build's ceiling. They look great and eliminate the need for drilling other mounts. The hollow interior allows more than enough room for wires to run through, giving a slick look. They also swivel 360 degrees, and tilt up and down. All I had to do was screw them into the existing prewire boxes, and then screw the speakers onto the threads of the mounts. Very simple process, and they look great. Mounts like these shouldn't be this hard to find! Glad I finally stumbled upon them though so I didn't have to do any drilling. Overall, very satisfied with these mounts. We use this at our company to hang a web camera from the ceiling, pointed at a whiteboard. It's great. Some of the other ceiling mounts from other vendors are smaller/shorter than this one and require many extensions to get the same length.

Mine just came in today, and so far I've only been on a short expedition to the back yard... I'm glad the other knock off brand was out of stock (it made the choice easier); I can't say that this is better, but I also am not sure if the Fuji tubes are any better than this.  I was a machinist for a bit over 40 years, and the fitment of this tube is very similar, at both ends, to the Fuji body and lens mounts. There is no discernible play, and the friction locking it in (and lenses into it) feels right to me. I'll assume that there is brass under the plating on both mounts, but that is just an assumption.  The 20 mm length is very usable with the 100-200 zoom. With the 50 it gets you to what seems like almost exactly 1/2 size, but the range of focus is severely limited. (I was expecting pretty much this, but of course the DoF is always that much less with this sensor size.) The electrical contacts all functioned as expected when this is mounted.
