I don’t have to flip through the booklet searching for my devices’ code. Being able to hook up to 8 devices is great. I was able to connect to my roku steaming box, Apple TV box and TV. There were some features it can’t replicate on the original remote, but for the basic functions, this would do. 5 |

I used it the other night to take photos of the celestial triangle in the night sky. It worked and did a great job. I had another remote shutter release that I paid more for and it was junk. The wires pulled out and I paid more for that one. This one seems a whole lot sturdier and isn't made cheaply. I don't regret this purchase at all. 5 |

The problem was that the DVR I was using for my security cameras, though it was a different brand than my TV, it had the same code as the TV. So, when I changed TV channels, the DVR for the cameras changed the camera screen. The only solution was to purchase a new DVR. Problem solved with the Hikvision AcuSense iDS-7208HUHI-M2/S TurboHD 8-Channel DVR (No HDD). 5 |
