Cell Phone Booster Remote Areas

I mainly got this because I roam remote areas alone, sometimes without a cell signal. I like its tracking ability, although I have a tracking app also on my phone. My friends can view my whereabouts on either MapShare or the tracking app, which I like. I use my phone as a topo mapping device, with downloaded maps so phone signal doesn't matter. I carry the little Mini-2 everywhere. I am still on a learning curve using the Explore app, but getting better. 5 |

I purchased this satellite communicator because many if not all of the places I hunt are located in remote areas without cell service. I like the interface between the device and my cell phone…makes sending and reading received messages easy on the eyes. Definitely worth the money spent. 5 |

The InReach Mini 2 is something I've been looking for to provide that next level of safety and communications. I sometimes ride my motorcycle alone, or go fishing/hiking in remote areas. Being able to let others know you are alright or track your location in remote areas without cell service is priceless. Having a backup option to our cell phones as a way to communicate with my wife if networks are busy or down was also a deciding factor on my purchase. The one thing I've noticed is the battery consumption seems to be more than I would have expected, so having a backup energy source to charge the device is recommended in some scenarios. 5 |

My husband got this for me so he could stay in touch with me when I am hunting in remote areas of Montana where there is no cell service. It gives him great peace of mind that he can text me and reach me, or vice versa, if needed. There is also a powerful SOS feature on the device in the event you ever find yourself in serious trouble and need help. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite only having one bar on my cell phone in our remote area, internet is pretty quick! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little bag is perfect for remote cables, cell phone, my little Kodak point and shoot and extra batteries. Attached to my bag easily and best of it is purple!! 5 |

Bought this for grandsons living in some remote country. Cell-phone service iffy. Review indicated these radios had margin - they'll work when other models/brands won't. The grandsons are happy with the radios. 5 |

This is one of my favorite all purpose lights. The fact you can control with the wrist remote or cell phone app make it my choice. Very handy on the boat as a stationary light to tie the fishing knots. The night mode keeps the giant bugs attracted by any white light. Highly recommend this product. Ledlense did their homework and got it spot on with this lantern. 5 |

I bought this because I have land in a remote mountainess area of Vermont where there is no cell phone service.. it works great to keep in contact with who ever is on the land with me, we are able to stay in contact while in different areas of the property, the range is farther then expected for such a hilly mountainess area. Not only do I recommend but the price is worth it, I would pay double if I had to. 5 |

This Cell Phone Mount was bought for my Wife. She watches videos on her cell phone often and I thought this was a better idea than leaning her phone against a bottle of ketchup or loaf of bread. Combining this with a tiny foldable tripod gives her a compact stand for her cell phone and she now uses it almost daily. She seems to like it and it folds up to take very little space. The mount had a slight hangup when I first tried it out but seems to work fine now. The threads in the plastic parts are actually brass inserts that are moulded in place so they will probably hold up a lot longer than plain plastic would. The plastic is well moulded and seems to be pretty good quality. In theory, the mount will stand up without a tripod, but it isn't stable. 5 |
